Before using the air mover, please read and understand all
warnings and instructions provided in the owner’s manual.
- Ensure that there is power supply to the unit. Plug the air
mover into a power outlet and check the circuit breaker. - Make sure the switch is in the ON position.
- If the unit still does not run, the switch may be faulty.
Replace the switch with a new one. - If there is no power or the motor does not run, check for any
faulty or broken cords or motor wires. Perform a continuity check
using a volt/amp meter and repair or replace any damaged
wires.
If the air mover is running but making a loud scraping
noise:
- The unit may have been severely jolted, causing the blower
wheel to rub against the housing. Remove the motor and replace
damaged motor mounts. - If the housing is deformed due to severe jolts, replace the
blower wheel.
If the air mover vibrates excessively:
- A severe jolt may have bent the motor shaft, causing the unit
to be out of balance. Remove and replace the motor. - If the air mover blade is damaged, replace it if
necessary. - If there is dirt build-up on one side of the air mover blade,
clean the blade.
If the blower wheel does not turn:
- The motor bearings may be failing or the motor has developed an
internal electrical fault. Replace the motor. - Check if the intake grill and/or exhaust grill is obstructed.
Remove any obstructions. - If there is excessive duct length, reduce it to the recommended
maximum.
