YEARLY CLEANING
CLEANING THE MACHINE
These instructions show the steps for YEARLY cleaning of the Primo Maxi:
- Cleaning the ingredient mixer parts
- Clean the drip tray and cup tray
- Clean the canisters & chutes
- Cleaning the extractor fans
- 1.03.02 counters/service counters/rinse& clean counters
- Check: Rinse is done daily, CleaningTablet weekly.
- Remove the mixer bowl & base – check the condition of the seals and the motor turns.
- Grease the ORing for the mixer bowl.
- Remove, clean & dry the dust tray.
- Clean and replace the Mixer base and Mixer bowl.
- Check and clean both fans – back & side (also check the air-hose & clean if necessary.)
- Grease the ORing on the door for smooth closing of the machine.
- Remove the brewer from the machine, then remove back cover.
- Slide out the funnel. Remove piston cover – access to the dirty cover of the upper piston
- Remove the screw of the lower piston filter.
- Take out the upper filter and ring
- Use the brewer connecting screw to remove the lower piston from chamber
- Clean the brewer under hot water and ensure coffee removed from upper piston
- Dry the brewer with cloth grease lower piston shaft
- Replace: Filters / Filter Ring / Piston cover / Funnel / Back of brewer
- 2.13.01 – Cycle counter. Check to see Servicebrewer counter if 25000, replace hygiene parts.
- Clean the Grinder Discs annually.
- If the 4 bar and 14 bar valves are still brass upgrade to the plastic version.
- Grease the O Ring of the brewer pump
- 2.06.02 Replace water filter, and reset the counter.
- Finally – grease the door lock.
