Product Information

The BECO Y Ultrasonic Water Meter is a high-precision water
meter designed for accurate measurement of water flow. It features
a simple yet comprehensive LCD display and a durable body made from
composite material that is 100% lead-free. The intelligent top
cover provides protection from UV rays, ensuring long-lasting
performance. The meter uses high precision measuring technology to
accurately measure every single drop of water that flows through
it. It is suitable for both hot and cold water, with a temperature
range of up to 70 degrees. The meter has a flexible battery
lifespan of 10 or 15 years depending on the customer’s needs, and
supports multiple communication interfaces for easy integration
into various installation environments. The BECO Y Ultrasonic Water
Meter is made from nature-friendly material and is suitable for
drinking water.

Product Usage Instructions

Ensure that the water meter is compatible with your pipe size.
The BECO Y Ultrasonic Water Meter is available in DN15 and DN20
sizes.
Install the water meter on the pipe without the need for
straight piping runs. The meter can be easily installed on any part
of the pipe, regardless of the straight pipe length on upstream or
downstream.
Make sure the water temperature does not exceed 70 degrees if
using hot water.
Check the battery lifespan requirement and adjust the battery
setting accordingly. The meter uses a flexible lithium battery that
can last up to 10 or 15 years.
Connect the water meter to the desired communication interface.
The BECO Y Ultrasonic Water Meter supports wired and wireless
communication interfaces such as LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, and Sigfox.
Install the water meter according to the standard compliance
requirements.
Monitor the LCD display for accurate meter readings. The
display provides comprehensive functionality and makes exploring
the BECO Y Ultrasonic Water Meter an enjoyable experience.

INTRODUCTION
BECO Y is the residential water meter made by nature friendly composite material which using ultrasonic measurement technology. With dynamic range upto R800 and starting flowrate as low as 2 l/h, the water meter is produced to be high accuracy. Choosing optional communications and working together with Bove’s ALPACA-E remote meter reading & control system, it is able to satisfy customers’needs: 24×7 NRW, AMI, etc. All is ready for service.

BECO Y has a starting flowrate as low as 2 l/h and dynamic range upto R800, that give the ability to measure very low flowrate. Every drop of water can be measured.

No Straight Pipe Required
Straight piping runs doesn’t matter. BECO Y can be easily installed on the pipe, you don’t need to care about the straight pipe length on upstream or downstream. BECO Y will give you accurate meter readings in U0/D0 scene.
