Gemma Sconce Wall Light

Product Information

The Gemma Sconce is a stylish and modern light fixture that adds
a touch of elegance to any space. It comes with a Mudring, which is
a mounting accessory that helps secure the fixture to the wall or
ceiling. The sconce includes various components such as a
backplate, mud ring, mounting screws, Wago clips, base screw,
mounting bracket, G9 LED bulb, diffuser, and Gemma shade.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the
electrical power at the main fuse box or circuit panel.
  2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, mount the backplate (Part A)
to the junction box by tightening the mounting screws (Part D).
Ensure that the wires from the junction box remain accessible.
  3. Attach the mudring (Part B) to the backplate (Part A) using the
two flat head mounting screws (Part E).
  4. Apply drywall mesh tape (Part C) by overlapping it on the
perimeter of the mud ring and the wall. Plaster over the drywall
mesh-tape, mudring, and wall. It is recommended to apply three
coats of plaster, allowing each coat to dry and sanding between
coats. Ensure this area is painted before proceeding.
  5. Attach the mounting bracket (Part H) to the exposed part of the
mudring (Part B) using additional mounting screws (Part D).
  6. Use the Wago clips (Part F) to connect the fixture’s wires to
the corresponding wires from the junction box. Remember that white
is neutral, black is live, and green/yellow is ground. Use a wire
stripper if needed to remove 3/8 of the insulation from each wire
before inserting them into the corresponding Wago clip (Part
    F).
  7. Slide the L base (Part I) over the mounting bracket (Part
    C).
  8. Secure the L base using the provided base screw (Part G).
  9. Carefully slide the Gemma shade (Part M) over the socket.
  10. Secure the shade (Part M) into place using the washer and
    provided tool (Part H).
  11. Push the included G9 LED bulb into socket (Part K).
  12. Thread the diffuser (Part L) over the bulb.
  13. Turn the power back on at the main fuse box or circuit panel
    that was disabled before installation.
