RBM-HY1043E Branching Header

Product Information: Branching Header (For R410A and R32)

The Branching Header is an essential component for the
installation of air conditioners that use R410A and R32
refrigerants. It is designed to branch the gas and liquid pipes
from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit, and it is available in
four models: RBM-HY1043E, RBM-HY1083E, RBM-HY2043E, and
RBM-HY2083E. The Branching Header comes with heat insulators for
both the gas and liquid sides.

Parts

The Branching Header package includes:

  • Branching pipe gas side
  • Branching pipe liquid side
  • Heat insulator (gas side/liquid side) – 1pc each

The dimensions of all parts are in millimeters. In the tables
provided, ( ) indicates the diameter of the indicated position, and
others indicate the diameter of the connecting pipe. Please note
that the socket side with a projection (51, 52, 54, 58, 59, 61, 62,
70, 89) should be connected to the pipe.

Connecting Method

To connect the Branching Header to the indoor and outdoor
units:

  1. Select and install the socket that matches the diameter of the
    pipe to be connected to the indoor unit.
  2. Connect the outlet sealed pipe at the gas side to the outdoor
    unit.
  3. Connect the header sealed pipe at the liquid side to the indoor
    unit.
  4. Connect the outlet sealed pipe at the liquid side to the
    Branching Header.

Make sure to install the Branching Header horizontally and do
not use T-type pipes for the branching section.

Requirement

Condensation may occur on the heat insulator due to the
atmosphere inside the ceiling. If the inside of the ceiling is
subject to high temperature and high humidity, it is recommended to
add glass wool (16 to 20 kg/m3, 10mm thick or more) on the heat
insulator for perfect heat insulation.

CONNECTING METHOD
Select and install the socket that matches the diameter of a pipe to be connected to the indoor unit.

· If the number of indoor units to be connected is fewer than the maximum number of units that can be connected to the branching header, attach a sealed pipe to the unused connectors.

When arranging the branching header at the liquid side, attach a header sealed pipe on the sealing side of the header as shown in the fiqure at right. Be sure to install the branch pipe downward. Horizontal viewed from D point should be within ±10 degrees same as view B. · Supporting branching header
After applying the insulation, set the hanging metals as support. (in use on the site).

NOTE : 1. Install the branching header so that it branches horizontally. It cannot be used in a vertical position. 2. Do not use T-type pipe for the branching section.

REQUIREMENT

If the inside of the ceiling is subject to high temperature and high humidity,please add the glass wool (16 to 20 kg/m3, 10mm thick or more) on the heat insulator described above for the perfect heat insulation.
