Product Usage Instructions
The OPS240 Kinetic Horizontal Log Splitter is designed to split
logs up to 22 inches in diameter and up to 22 inches in length.
Here are the steps to use it:
- Make sure the log splitter is placed on a flat and stable
surface. - Turn on the engine by following the instructions in the
manual. - Place the log on the splitter’s wedge.
- Activate the ram by pulling the lever or pressing the button,
depending on the model. - Once the log is split, remove the pieces and repeat the process
with new logs. - When finished, turn off the engine and store the log splitter
in a dry and secure place.
It is recommended to wear safety gear, such as gloves and eye
protection, while using the log splitter. Always follow the
instructions in the manual to ensure safe and proper use of the
product.

Introducing the DK2 POWER OPS240 40-ton kinetic log splitter, powered by a KOHLER® CH270 7HP 208cc Command PRO® engine for outstanding performance. Equipped with an oversized reinforced steel work table, safety lockout and a clam shell quick-access body for easy use and maintenance.
The OPS240 has an 8-inch expansion wedge and an auto-retracting bearing-
guided ram to drive through logs up to 22 inches in diameter and up to 22
inches in length. Keep yourself safe while working
with its extended stability stand and ATV locking
wheels, keeping the splitter securely in place.
