Installation
- Insert spring guide bolt through recoil spring of your pistol. Insert both into hexagonal hole in the bottom of gauge body and through round hole on top.
- Screw nut about one full turn.
- Insert hook attached to digital scale through hole in the nut.
- Turn on the scale and set desired unit (usually lbs).
- Slowly pull handle of the gauge body and strap of the scale using both hands.
- Align upper side of the bolt head (end of spring) with the notch mark for the desired pistol.
- Read spring power on the scale’s display
