E-Thunderbird CF E-Bike
Product Information:
The product is a bicycle with a dropper seat post and electric
cable support. It comes with an EW-EN100 connector that has simple
operation and display functionality. The product requires assembly,
and the manufacturer’s manual should be followed for proper
installation. The electric cables should be connected and
disconnected using a SHIMANO genuine tool to avoid poor connection
quality. The EW-EN100 connector should be installed as shown in the
manual to avoid damage in case of tipping over the bicycle.
Product Usage Instructions:
1. Front wheel assembly: The first step after unpacking the bike
is the front wheel assembly. After completing the first step,
install the dropper seat post with the shifter in accordance with
the manufacturer’s manual.
2. Electric cables support:
2.1 Connection of the electric cable:
- Align the plug of the electric cable with the SHIMANO original
tool. If there is an adjustment tab on the electric cable plug,
align it with the groove on the SHIMANO original tool. - Insert the plug of the electric cable into the E-TUBE slot.
Push it straight in until you feel a click.
2.2. Disconnection of the electric cable:
- Put the original Shimano tool into the groove on the electric
cable plug. - Disconnect the electric cable from the e-Tube socket.
3. Assemble of the EW-EN100 connector on the dropper seat post
cable:
- Determine the place of the EW-EN100 assemble, then set up the
adapter. - Bend the adapter on the dropper seat post cable.
- Set up the EW-EN100 part, then connect it to the electric
cables. - The redundance of electric cable should be tucked into the
frame. Then secure the electric cable on both sides of the
connector by wrapping the spiral provided in the kit. Cut the
wrapper to adjust to the desirable length.

NOTE: Due to the packaging and transport, the control connector is placed in a separate box. Other system components have been installed in accordance with the manual and manufacturer’s recommendations.

1. DROPPER SEAT POST ASSEMBLY
The first step after unpacking the bike is the front wheel assembly. After completing the first step, install the dropper seat post with the shifter in accordance with the manufacturer’s manual:

2. ELECTRIC CABLES SUPPORT

Always use a SHIMANO genuine tool when removing and inserting electric cables.
CAUTION: When connecting and disconnecting the electric cable, do not force the plug to bend it. This can result in poor connection quality.
2.1 Connection of the electric cable
Connect the electric cable to the E-TUBE port.
1. Align the plug of the electric cable with the SHIMANO original tool. If there is an adjustment tab on the electric cable plug, align it with the groove on the SHIMANO original tool.
2.2. Disconnection of the electric cable
Remove the electric cable.
1. Put the original Shimano tool into the groove on the electric cable plug.
2. Disconnect the electric cable from the e-Tube socket.
2. Insert the plug of the electric cable into the E-TUBE slot. Push it straight in until you feel a click.

* According to the figure above, use the (A) parts of the original Shimano tool as a rotating support and move like a lever, then disconnect it. If the amount of space for setting up the tool is limited, put the original Shimano tool up and disconnect the electric cable.
CAUTION: Do not repeat the operation of connecting and disconnecting the electric cable too often. The connector can be used or deformed, which can affect on lack of water resistance and good quality connection.

3. ASSEMBLE OF THE EW-EN100 CONNECTOR ON THE DROPPER SEAT POST CABLE
The EW-EN100 is a connector with simple operation / display functionality.
CAUTION: Installation of the EW-EN100 Install the EW-EN100 as shown in the figure below to aviod touching the sides of the frame. Otherwise, it may be damaged in case of tipping over the bicycle and being squeezed between the frame and the ground.
3.1 Determine the place of the EW-EN100 asseble, then set up the adapter

3.2 Set up the EW-EN100 part, then connect it to the electric cables
The redundance of electric cable should be tucked into the frame. Then secure the electric cable on both sides of the connector by wrapping the spiral provided in the kit. Cut the wrapper to adjust to the desirable length. The final effect is shown in the photo on the left.
