Product Information

The Audio Company PA Column Speaker is a high-quality speaker
system designed for professional audio installations. It is
specifically designed for use with 100 V PA technology and is
intended for installers with knowledge in this area. The speaker

The column speaker is supplied with two mounting brackets for
easy installation. It features an M8 threaded jack on both its
upper and lower sides for attaching the brackets securely. It is
important to use both mounting brackets to ensure safe
installation.

Electrical connection should be carried out by skilled
personnel. The column speaker should be connected to the 100 V
audio cable of the amplifier using the black terminal COM and the
red terminal corresponding to the desired power rating. It is
crucial to switch off the amplifier before making any connections
to avoid any voltage hazards.

Product Usage Instructions

Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschallungstechnik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Installation gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten Diese hochwertige Tonsäule mit Holzgehäuse ist speziell für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert, die mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten. Sie ist als 2 ½-WegeSystem ausgeführt und eignet sich optimal sowohl für Sprach- als auch für Musikwiedergabe. Die Leistungsanpassung erfolgt über die Auswahl der Anschlussklemmen.

2 Wichtige Hinweise Das Produkt entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
· Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur im Innenbereich
und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser sowie vor hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit. Der zulässige Einsatztemperaturbereich beträgt 0 40 °C.
· Säubern Sie das Produkt nur mit einem trockenen,
weichen Tuch, niemals mit Wasser oder Chemikalien.
· Wird das Produkt falsch verwendet, nicht sicher
installiert oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und keine Garantie für das Produkt übernommen werden.

3 Montage Zwei Montagewinkel sowie passende Scheiben und Schrauben liegen bei. Für die Befestigung der Winkel ist an der Oberseite und an der Unterseite der Tonsäule je eine M8-Gewindebuchse vorhanden. Die Tonsäule an geeigneter Stelle fachgerecht montieren.
WICHTIG: Für eine sichere Montage müssen unbedingt beide Montagewinkel verwendet werden!
4 Elektrischer Anschluss
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche Spannung bis 100 V an der Anschlussleitung an. Die Installation darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Vor dem Anschluss den Verstärker ausschalten, damit seine 100-V-Audioleitung spannungsfrei ist! Die Tonsäule über die schwarze Klemme COM und diejenige rote Klemme, die der gewünschten Nennleistung entspricht, an die 100-V-Audioleitung des Verstärkers anschließen. Bei mehreren Tonsäulen in einem Raum darauf achten, dass sie alle gleich gepolt werden.
Unbedingt beachten: In einer 100-V-Anlage darf die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher die Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten. Eine Überlastung kann den Verstärker beschädigen!

1 Applications This high-quality column speaker in a wooden cabinet is specially designed for applications in PA systems using 100 V technology. As a 2 ½-way system, it is ideally suited for reproducing speech and music. The power is matched via selection of the terminals.
2 Important Notes The product corresponds to all relevant directives of the EU and is therefore marked with . The product corresponds to the relevant UK legislation and is therefore marked with UKCA. · The product is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water, splash water and high air humidity. The admissible ambient temperature range is 0 40 °C.

· For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
chemicals or water.
· No guarantee claims for the product and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the product is not correctly used, if it is not safely installed or not expertly repaired.
If the product is to be put out of operation definitively, dispose of the product in accordance with local regulations.
3 Installation The column speaker is supplied with two mounting brackets including matching washers and screws. For fastening the brackets, the column speaker is provided with an M8 threaded jack each on its upper and lower sides. Install the column speaker expertly at a suitable place.
IMPORTANT: Always use both mounting brackets to ensure safe installation!

4 Electrical Connection
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of contact with a dangerous voltage of up to 100 V at the connection cable. Installation must be made by skilled personnel only.
Prior to connection, switch off the amplifier so that its 100 V audio cable will not carry any voltage!
Connect the column speaker to the 100 V audio cable of the amplifier via the black terminal COM and the red terminal corresponding to the desired power rating. If there are several column speakers in a room, make sure that they all have the same polarity.
Please make sure to note: In a 100 V system, the total power of all speakers connected must not exceed the amplifier power. An overload may damage the amplifier!

1 Possibilités d’utilisation Cette colonne sonore de grande qualité avec ébénisterie bois est spécialement conçue pour une utilisation dans des installations de Public Adress fonctionnant en ligne 100 V. Elle est équipée d’un système 2 voies et demi et est idéale tant pour la restitution de musique que de discours. L’adaptation de puissance s’effectue en sélectionnant les bornes de branchement.
2 Conseils importants Le produit répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de l’Union européenne et porte donc le symbole .
· Le produit n`est conçu que pour une utilisation en
intérieur. Protégez-le des éclaboussures, de tout

type de projections d`eau et d’une humidité d`air élevée. La plage de température ambiante admissible est de 0 40 °C.
· Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon
sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
· Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages corporels ou matériels résultants si le produit n`est pas correctement utilise, s’il n’est pas installé d’une manière sûre ou s’il n’est pas réparé par une personne habilitée ; de même, la garantie deviendrait caduque.

3 Montage Deux étriers de montage, les rondelles et vis correspondantes sont livrées avec la colonne. Pour la fixation des étriers, la colonne est dotée respectivement sur la face supérieure et la face inférieure d’une prise filetée M8. Montez solidement la colonne à l’endroit voulu.
IMPORTANT : Pour garantir un montage sûr, utilisez toujours tous les deux étriers de montage.
4 Branchements électriques
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une tension de contact dangereuse jusqu’à 100 V est présente au câble de connexion. Seul un personnel qualifié peut effectuer l’installation.
Avant le branchement, éteignez l’amplificateur pour que son câble audio 100 V ne soit pas porteur de tension !
Reliez la colonne sonore via la borne noire COM et la borne rouge correspondante à la puissance nominale souhaitée, au câble audio 100 V de l’amplificateur. Dans le cas de plusieurs colonnes dans une pièce, veillez à ce qu’elles aient toutes la même polarité.
Veillez à ce que l’amplificateur ne soit pas en surcharge : dans une installation 100 V, la somme des puissances de tous les haut-parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de l’amplificateur. Toute surcharge peut endommager l’amplificateur !

1 Possibilità d’impiego Questa colonna sonora di alta qualità in una cassa di legno è stata realizzata specialmente per l’impiego in impianti PA che lavorano con uscita audio 100 V. Si tratta di un sistema a 2 ½ vie e si presta in modo ottimale alla riproduzione sia di lingua parlata che di musica. L’adattamento alla potenza viene effettuato per mezzo dei morsetti di collegamento.
2 Note importanti Il prodotto è conforme a tutte le direttive rilevanti dell’UE e pertanto porta la sigla .
· Il prodotto è adatto solo per uso interno. Proteg-
gerlo contro il gocciolamento di acqua, gli spruzzi d’acqua e l’elevata umidità dell’aria. L’intervallo di temperatura ambiente ammissibile è di 0 40 °C.

· Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto;
non impiegare in nessun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.
· Se il prodotto non viene utilizzato correttamente,
non viene installato in modo securo o non viene riparato a regola d’arte, non si accettano richieste di garanzia per il prodotto e non si risponde di eventuali danni alle persone o alle cose che ne derivano.
Se il prodotto deve essere messo definitivamente fuori servizio, smaltire il prodotto in conformità con le normative locali.
3 Montaggio Sono in dotazione due angoli di montaggio con relative rondelle e viti. Per il fissaggio degli angoli, sul lato superiore e su quello inferiore della colona sonora si trova una boccola filettato M8. Montare la colonna sonora correttamente in un posto adatto.
IMPORTANTE: Per un montaggio sicuro si devono assolutamente usare entrambi gli angoli di fissaggio!

4 Collegamento elettrico
AVVERTIMENTO Durante il funzionamento, al cavo di collegamento è presente una tensione pericolosa fino a 100 V. L’installazione deve essere fatta solo da personale qualificato.
Prima di eseguire il collegamento, spegnere l’amplificatore in modo che il suo cavo audio da 100 V non porti tensione!
Collegare la colonna sonora con l’uscita audio 100 V dell’amplificatore servendosi del morsetto nero COM e del morsetto rosso che corrisponde alla potenza nominale desiderata. Se ci sono più colonne sonore in una stanza, assicurati che abbiano tutte la stessa polarità.
Nota importante: In un impianto 100 V, la somma delle potenze di tutti gli altoparlanti collegati non deve superare la potenza dell’amplificatore. Un sovraccarico può danneggiare l’amplificatore!
