PA Speaker
These instructions are intended for installers with specific knowledge of sound reproduction using 100 V technology. Please read the instructions carefully prior to installation and keep them for later reference.
Applications
This speaker is specially designed for PA systems. It can be used as a wall or ceiling speaker. With EN 54-24 certification, it has been approved for voice alarm systems.
Ball impact resistance in accordance with DIN 18 032, part 3 has been confirmed. The speaker is equipped with a transformer for operation in 100 V systems. The terminals are used to define the power (three values are available).

The speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against dripping water, splash water and high air humidity. The admissible ambient temperature range is −10 to +50 °C.
For cleaning only use a soft, dry cloth; never use water or chemicals.
No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the speaker is used for other purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly installed, if it is overloaded or if it is not repaired in an expert way.

If the speaker is to be put out of operation definitively, dispose of the speaker in accordance with local regulations.

Installation

WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of contact with a dangerous voltage of up to 100 V at the speaker cable. Installation must be made by skilled personnel only. Observe the load of the PA amplifier by the speakers. Overload may damage the amplifier!

Always switch off the PA amplifier before installing the speaker so that the speaker cable will not carry any voltage!
Connect the connection cable to the terminal block: Connect the terminal with the white core and the terminal with the core corresponding to the desired power rating (volume) (☞ table). Make sure that all speakers of a speaker zone have the same polarity.

Use the screws provided to fasten the speaker at the place of installation (e. g. wall or ceiling).
Seal the mounting holes with the covers provided.
