Product Information: Riptide Ulterra Trolling Motor

The Riptide Ulterra trolling motor is a high-performance motor
designed for use in various water conditions. It features a power
button, status light, and system ready light for easy operation.
The motor has an auto-shut off function after 1.5 hours of
inactivity in the stowed position. It is important to note that
manually turning the lower unit of the motor while powered off can
cause alignment issues and improper stowing.

Power On

To power on the Riptide Ulterra trolling motor, follow these
steps:

  1. Locate the power button on the base of the motor.
  2. Press and release the power button.
  3. The red STATUS light and the green SYSTEM READY light will
    illuminate, indicating that the motor is powered on.

Power Off

To power off the Riptide Ulterra trolling motor, follow these
steps:

  1. Press and hold the POWER button for approximately three
    seconds.
  2. Release the POWER button when the green light turns off.
  3. The motor will be powered off.
  4. Note that the motor also has an auto-shut off feature after 1.5
    hours of inactivity in the stowed position.

Status Light

The red STATUS light on the Riptide Ulterra trolling motor
indicates different states:

  • Solid: Motor is stowed
  • Flashing: Motor is stowing/deploying
  • Off: Motor is deployed or off

System Ready Light

The green SYSTEM READY light on the Riptide Ulterra trolling
motor remains lit while the motor is operating. If the green light
does not remain illuminated after power up, it indicates
insufficient voltage or power.

WARNING: When powering off the motor while off
the ramps, never manually turn the lower unit of the motor by hand.
This can cause alignment issues and improper stowing.

GETTING STARTED

POWER ON The Riptide Ulterra trolling motor must be powered “on” manually. The remote will not turn the motor on. The power button is located on the base of the motor. Pressing the power button will turn on Riptide Ulterra. The red STATUS light and the green SYSTEM READY light will both be illuminated when powered on.
POWER OFF To power off Riptide Ulterra, press and hold the POWER button approximately three seconds, until the green light turns off. Riptide Ulterra has an auto-shut off as well. It will automatically power off after 1.5 hours of inactivity in the stowed position.

STATUS LIGHT STATUS The red STATUS light indicates:
Solid: Motor is stowed Flashing: Motor is stowing/deploying Off: Motor is deployed or off

SYSTEM READY

SYSTEM READY LIGHT The green SYSTEM READY light will remain lit while Riptide Ulterra is operating. If the green light does not remain illuminated after power up, this is an indicator of insufficient voltage/power.

WARNING:
When the motor is powered off while off the ramps, never turn the lower unit of the motor manually (by hand). This will affect the alignment of the motor and cause it to stow improperly.

DÉMARRAGE
MISE EN MARCHE Le moteur de pêche à la traîne Riptide Ulterra doit être mis en « on » (marche) manuellement. La télécommande ne sera pas tourner le moteur sur. Le bouton de mise enmarche est situé à la base du moteur. Appuyer sur le bouton de mise en marche allumera Ulterra. Les feux rouges et verts DEL s’allumera lors de la mise en marche.
ARRÊT Pour arrêter Riptide Ulterra, appuyez et tenez le bouton de mise en marche jusqu’à ce que le voyant vert s’éteigne. Ulterra a aussi un arrêt automatique. Il s’arrêtera automatiquement après 1,5 heure d’inactivité en position d’arrimage.
VOYANT D’ÉTAT
STATUS
Le voyant d’ÉTAT rouge indique:
Fixe : Le moteur est arrimé
Clignotant : Le moteur est en cours d’arrimage/de déploiement
Éteint : Le moteur est déployé ou éteint
VOYANT SYSTÈME PRÊT SYSTEM READY Le voyant SYSTÈME PRÊT restera allumé jusqu’à ce que l’Ulterra fonctionne. Si le
voyant vert s’éteint après le démarrage, cela signifie que la tension/l’alimentation est insuffisante.
AVERTISSEMENT : Ne jamais éteindre l’unité inférieure manuellement (à la main) lorsque le moteur est éteint et hors rampe. Cela affectera l’alignement du moteur et entraînera un arrimage inapproprié.
