58119 Arched Aluminum Ramps

Product Information

The product is a set of loading ramps designed to assist in the
loading and unloading of vehicles onto trucks or trailers. The
ramps have a combined weight capacity of 1500 lbs and can hold up
to 750 lbs individually. The dimensions of each ramp are 90 L x 12
W, and they have a maximum tailgate height of 45 inches under
static conditions. The product comes with safety straps to secure
the ramps to the vehicle, and it is important to follow the safety
instructions carefully to avoid injury or damage to the
product.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before use, read and understand the manual carefully.
  2. Inspect the product before every use, and do not use if any
    parts are loose or damaged.
  3. Turn off the vehicle’s ignition, set the parking brake, or
chock wheels. The trailer must be properly coupled to the tow
    vehicle.
  4. Clean dirt, oil, and debris off the ramps and allow them to
    dry.
  5. Set up the ramps only on a solid, level, dry surface.
  6. Turn the ramps so that the flange end faces downward, and
position them so that the tongues fully contact the tailgate.
  7. Properly connect the safety straps.
  8. Load and unload the vehicle slowly. Do not ride the vehicle up
    or down the ramps.
  9. Do not exceed 750 lb capacity per ramp or 1500 lb capacity
evenly distributed across two ramps. Be aware of dynamic loading,
as sudden load movement may briefly create excess load causing
    product failure.
  10. Use the product as intended only. Do not use it as a ladder,
bridge, or scaffolding, to load/unload 3-wheeled vehicles, if the
tailgate on the carrying vehicle is higher than 45 inches, or to
load a vehicle with wheel width wider than the ramps.
  11. Use the ramps on a solid, level, flat, dry surface. Make sure
the tongue edge fully contacts the tailgate of the vehicle.
  12. Prior to each use, clean dirt, oil, or any debris off the
    ramps.
  13. Keep children away from the work area and do not allow them to
play with or near the product.
  14. Check for damaged parts before using the product. Any part that
appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it
will perform its intended function. Check for any broken parts or
mounting fixtures and any other condition that may affect proper
operation. Any part that is damaged should be replaced before using
    the product.
  15. Do not exceed the weight capacity of the tailgate.
  16. Do not work alone. If an accident happens, an assistant can
    bring help.
  17. Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered and dark areas
    invite injuries.
  18. When not in use, store the ramps in a dry location to inhibit
    rust.
