Improperly installed electrical wiring can be dangerous and cause electrical fires. The connector chosen must be sized to the wires being used. Installation Instructions
- Turn off power before removing or installing connectors.
- For use on solid copper wire only.
- Strip wires if insulated 1” (25 mm). Note: Through-wire must be stripped full length.
- Insert through-wire in connector first.
- Hold remaining wires together with ends even.
- Pre-twisting acceptable, but not required. Screw on connector – push wires firmly into connector when starting.
- Insert wires into connector and twist clockwise until tight.

- A. System grounding wire
- B. System grounding wire
- C. Through-wire to box ground
- D. Through-wire to device ground
Note: If through-wire is a jumper, be sure wire extends below skirt 6” minimum.
Use only on Copper to Copper (Cu/Cu) wire combinations. For use in dry locations only.
Temperature rating: 105◦C (221◦F) maximum.
