TO TURN ON
To turn on or cycle through the 5 light modes, press the power button several times (low, medium, high, strobe, and SOS).
TO TURN OFF
Slide the flashlight’s head to change the light focus from floodlight to spotlight and vice versa.
NOTE:
- Before using, insert 3 AAA batteries or a single 18650 battery into the battery cover provided in the package.
- All light modes can be toggled with a single button for convenience.
- To avoid water damage to the device, make sure the battery compartment is securely locked.
- Please replace the batteries as soon as the light begins to dim.
- The flashlights come with straps and protective cases to make them more portable.

All of our products are designed, developed, and manufactured in the USA.
You can absolutely use 18650 batteries (must be 1500-1800mAh only) instead of 3 x AAA batteries.
If you use 3 AAA cells, you don’t need the plastic piece. If you use a 18650 rechargeable cell, the plastic cover makes for a tighter fit. Plut the plastic cover all the way in, then put in the 18650 button-top cells.
This flashlight DOES have a strobe as one set. You have to click the on/off button twice fast to change to one of 5 modes, high power, med, low, strobe, or SOS. It will stay at Hi power steady until you cycle to the next mode.

Both Vont Blaze flashlights are the same size with measurements of 1.5 inches wide and 5.3 inches long.
I installed 3 AAA batteries in each light when I received them. Just moved into a new home and have been using both repeatedly for the past 3 weeks. Light is still as strong as when we first received them.
If I pull this light out and turn it on, it’s always in the bright setting. You can cycle through modes if you want, but like a lot of headlamps, it remains on the same setting unless you turn it off and on a number of times rapidly. So it’s capable of modes but doesn’t require you to use them.
It is for the superior performance and longevity of the Blaze flashlights. The flashlights will be much happier with the batteries they get along with.
