Product Information
The BCTG36500SS is a 36-inch gas cooktop with a stainless steel
finish. It features illuminated knobs that glow red when the burner
is on and blue when it is off. The cooktop has five sealed burners,
including an 18,000/675 BTU center burner, an 11,000 BTU front
right burner, a 9,000 BTU rear left burner, and two 4,500 BTU
burners on the front left and rear right. The center burner also
has a true simmer function for delicate dishes. The cooktop has
continuous cast iron grates that are hand wash only and electric
ignition with automatic reignition. The product comes with a child
lock and LP conversion kit.
Product Usage
To use the BCTG36500SS gas cooktop, make sure it is properly
installed above a base cabinet or wider with the required
clearance. The cooktop requires natural gas and a minimum circuit
breaker size. The LP conversion kit is included if needed. To
ignite the burners, turn the corresponding illuminated knob to the
desired heat level. The illuminated knobs make it easy to see which
burners are on/off. The high-output 18k BTU burner delivers heat on
demand to sear in flavor or bring liquids to a boil quickly. To
simmer, turn the center burner down for a true simmer. After use,
turn all knobs to the off position and clean the grates by hand
washing them. Do not put grates in the dishwasher. The cooktop also
comes with a child lock feature to prevent accidental ignition. For
