The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST Austria complies with the recognized technical directives and legal regulations for safety. Nevertheless, you and the other users of the appliance should observe the following: · Please read these instructions carefully
before using this appliance for the first time and keep them for further reference. · This product has not been designed for any other uses than those specified in this manual. · Before connecting the appliance to the power source, check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the appliance. · Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces. · Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near any hot surface (such as gas or electric burner or a heated oven). · Ensure that the appliance is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children, this will prevent from overturning and avoid damage or injury. · Only use this product with the supplied base unit. Do not use the base unit for other puposes. · To protect from electrical hazard, do not immerse this appliance or cordset in any liquids. · If the appliance or the power cord shows any signs of damage, do not operate it! · Always disconnect the appliance from the power source before draining the water.
· Always disconnect the appliance from power after use, before cleaning and in the event of a malfunction.
· As long as the appliance is hot, it should be supervised, even if it is not connected to the mains. Allow the appliance to cool down fully before cleaning and storing it.
· Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance from the power source.

BEFORE FIRST USE Before first use, wash all parts with hot water. Then boil a few batches of coffee and pour it away.

HOW TO PREPARE THE COFFEE (Fig. B) 1. Place the appliance on a flat surface. 2. Check that the moka maker is cold, then
unscrew the pitcher (B) from the boiler (C) by turning it counter-clockwise (Fig. 1). 3. Remove the funnel filter (K) from the boiler. 4. a) For a full pot of coffee: Fill the boiler (C) with fresh water right below the safety valve (J) without exceeding it (Fig. 2). b) For the half amount of coffee: Fill the boiler (C) halfway with fresh water (Fig. 2).
Caution: Do not use the moka maker without water in the boiler.
5. a) For a full pot of coffee: Insert the funnel filter (K) into the boiler (C) (Fig. 3). b) For the half amount of coffee: Insert the funnel filter (K) into the boiler (C) (Fig. 3), then put the adapter disc (L) into the funnel filter (K) (Fig. 4).
6. Fill the funnel filter (K) with ground coffee, without pressing it (Fig. 5). Fill it gradually to avoid spilling the ground coffee.
7. Distribute the ground coffee evenly and remove excess coffee from the edge of the filter.
Note: Use medium-ground coffee, for moka coffee makers.
8. Screw the pitcher (B) firmly back onto the boiler (C).
9. Close the lid and place the moka maker on the power base (Fig. 6).
10. Press the on/off switch (H) (Fig. 7). 11. The coffee extraction will start after a few
minutes. 12. At the end of brewing, stir the coffee slightly
before serving it.
CLEANING & MAINTAINENCE
Always unplug the appliance from power and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Never immerse the power base and power cord in water. Do not let the electrical parts come into contact with moisture. · Clean the inside of the tube periodically. · Regularly check the funnel and the gasket.
Replace if there are signs of wear or deterioration. · Check that the holes in the disk filter are not blocked. If necessary, clean it by using a pin (Fig. 8). · Do not wash the coffee maker in the dishwasher! · Do not use solvents or abrasive detergents. Clean it with a damp sponge.

Never rinse the boiler under the tap water and never immerse it in water.
STORAGE It is recommended to store in a covered and dry place at an ambient temperature not higher than +40°C with relative humidity above 70 % and the absence in the environment of dust, acid and other vapours.
TRANSPORTATION There are no special transport regulations for the product. When transporting the unit, use the original packaging. During transportation, avoid drops, impacts and other mechanical influences on the device, as well as direct exposure to atmospheric precipitation and aggressive environments.

· Solange das Gerät heiß ist, muss es beaufsichtigt werden, auch wenn es nicht am Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen und wegstellen.
· Ziehen Sie nicht am Netzkabel, sondern fassen Sie am Stecker an, um das Gerät vom Stromnetz zu trennen.
· Der Wasserkocher ist kein Spielzeug. Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
· Kinder können die Gefahren beim Umgang mit elektrischen Geräten nicht erkennen. Deshalb sollten sie nur unter Aufsicht mit Elektrogeräten arbeiten dürfen. In Gegenwart von Kindern ist besondere Vorsicht geboten.
· Dieses Gerät ist nicht zur Benutzung durch Personen (auch Kinder) mit physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Beeinträchtigungen oder ohne ausreichender Erfahrung vorgesehen, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine verantwortliche Person beaufsichtigt oder wurden in die ordnungsgemäße Bedienung des Gerätes durch eine für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlichen Person eingewiesen.

VOR ERSTGEBRAUCH Vor Erstgebrauch waschen Sie alle Teile in heißem Wasser ab. Danach kochen Sie einige Portionen Kaffee und gießen ihn weg.
KAFFEE ZUBEREITEN (Abb. B) 1. Stellen Sie das Gerät eben auf. 2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Mokkamaschi-
ne kalt ist und schrauben Sie dann die Kanne (B) durch Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn vom Dampfkessel (C) ab (Abb. 1). 3. Nehmen Sie den Trichterfilter (K) aus dem Dampfkessel. 4. a) Für eine volle Kanne Kaffee: Füllen Sie den Dampfkessel (C) bis unter das Sicherheitsventil (J) mit frischem Wasser, aber nicht darüber hinaus (Abb. 2). b) Für die Hälfte der Kaffeemenge: Füllen Sie den Dampfkessel (C) bis zur Hälfte mit frischem Wasser (Abb. 2).
Vorsicht: Verwenden Sie die Mokkamaschine nicht ohne Wasser im Dampfkessel.
5. a) Für eine volle Kanne Kaffee: Setzen Sie den Trichterfilter (K) im Dampfkessel (C) ein (Abb. 3). b) Für die Hälfte der Kaffeemenge: Setzen Sie den Trichterfilter (K) im Dampfkessel (C) ein (Abb. 3), dann setzen Sie die Adapterscheibe (L) in den Trichterfilter (K) ein (Abb. 4).
6. Füllen Sie den Trichterfilter (K) mit Kaffeemehl, ohne ihn zu anzudrücken (Abb. 5). Füllen Sie ihn nach und nach, um ein Verschütten des Kaffeemehls zu vermeiden.
7. Verteilen Sie das Kaffeemehl gleichmäßig und entfernen Sie überschüssigen Kaffee vom Rand des Filters.
Hinweis: Verwenden Sie für die Mokkamaschine mittelgrob gemahlenen Kaffee.
8. Schrauben Sie die Kanne (B) wieder fest auf den Dampfkessel (C).
9. Schließen Sie den Deckel und stellen Sie die Mokkamaschine auf den Sockel (Abb. 6).
10. Drücken Sie den Ein/Aus-Schalter (H) (Abb. 7).
11. Nach einigen Minuten beginnt die Kaffeezubereitung.
12. Rühren Sie den Kaffee am Ende des Brühvorgangs leicht um, bevor Sie ihn servieren.

REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG Trennen Sie das Gerät immer vom Stromnetz und lassen Sie es abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen. Tauchen Sie Sockel und Netzkabel keinesfalls in Wasser ein. Lassen Sie die elektrischen Teile nicht mit Feuchtigkeit in Berührung kommen. · Reinigen Sie das Innere des Röhrchens in
regelmäßigen Abständen. · Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig den Trichter und
die Dichtung. Tauschen Sie sie aus, wenn sie Anzeichen von Verschleiß oder Abnutzung aufweisen. · Überprüfen Sie, ob die Löcher im Scheibenfilter verstopft sind. Reinigen Sie ihn ggf. mit einer Nadel (Abb. 8). · Reinigen Sie die Mokkamaschine nicht in der Geschirrspülmaschine! · Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel oder Scheuermittel. Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Schwamm.
Spülen Sie den Dampfkessel keinesfalls unter Leitungswasser ab und tauchen Sie ihn nicht in Wasser ein.
AUFBEWAHRUNG Es ist empfehlenswert, das Gerät an einem sicheren und trockenen Platz aufzubewahren, der eine Umgebungstemperatur +40°C und eine relative Luftfeuchtigkeit 70 % besitzt. Der Aufbewahrungsort muss frei von Staub, Säuren und anderen Dämpfen sein.
TRANSPORT Für das Produkt gibt es keine besonderen Transportvorschriften. Benutzen Sie die Originalverpackung, wenn Sie das Gerät transportieren. Vermeiden Sie es, dass das Gerät während des Transports herunterfällt, zusammenstößt oder beschädigt wird und dass es atmosphärischem Niederschlag sowie rauen Umweltbedingungen ausgesetzt wird.

· Tant que l’appareil est chaud, il doit être surveillé, même s’il n’est pas branché. Attendez que l’appareil soit complètement froid avant de le nettoyer/ranger.
· Lors du débranchement de l’appareil, ne tirez pas sur le cordon mais plutôt sur la prise.
· L’appareil n’est pas un jouet. Les enfants doivent être surveillés pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
· Les enfants ne sont pas conscients des dangers pouvant se produire des appareils électriques. Ainsi, ils doivent être surveillés lors d’utilisation d’appareils électriques. Une attention particulière doit être prise lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil à proximité d’enfants.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION Lavez toutes les pièces à l’eau chaude avant la première utilisation. Faites ensuite bouillir quelques quantités de café et le jeter.
COMMENT PRÉPARER LE CAFÉ (Fig. B). 1. Placez l`appareil sur une surface plate. 2. Vérifiez que la cafetière moka est froide, puis
dévissez la cruche (B) du chauffe-eau (C) en la tournant dans le sens antihoraire (Fig. 1). 3. Retirez le filtre entonnoir (K) du chauffe-eau. 4. a) Pour un pot plein de café : Remplissez le chauffe-eau (C) d’eau douce juste en dessous de la soupape de sécurité (J) sans la dépasser (Fig. 2). b) Pour la moitié de la quantité de café: Remplissez le chauffe-eau (C) à moitié d’eau douce (Fig. 2).
Attention : N’utilisez pas la cafetière moka sans eau dans le chauffe-eau.
5. a) Pour un pot plein de café : Insérez le filtre entonnoir (K) dans le chauffeeau (C) (Fig. 3). b) Pour la moitié de la quantité de café: Insérez le filtre entonnoir (K) dans le chauffe-eau (C) (Fig. 3), puis insérez le disque adaptateur (L) dans le filtre entonnoir (K) (Fig. 4).
6. Remplissez le filtre entonnoir (K) de café moulu, sans exercer de pression (Fig. 5). Le remplir progressivement pour éviter de renverser du café moulu.
7. Répartissez uniformément le café moulu et enlever tout ce qui déborde du filtre.
Remarque : Pour la cafetière moka, utilisez du café moyennement moulu.
8. Vissez fermement la cruche (B) sur le chauffeeau (C).
9. Fermez le couvercle et placez la machine à moka sur la base électrique (Fig. 6).
10. Appuyez sur l’interrupteur Allumer/Éteindre (H) (Fig. 7).
11. L’extraction du café démarre au bout de quelques minutes.
12. À la fin de l’infusion, remuez légèrement le café avant de le servir.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN Débranchez toujours l’appareil du secteur et le laisser refroidir avant de le nettoyer. Ne plongez jamais la base électrique ou le cordon d’alimentation dans l’eau. Ne laissez pas de pièces électriques entrer en contact avec l’humidité.

· Nettoyez régulièrement l’intérieur du tube. · Vérifiez régulièrement l’entonnoir et le joint.
Remplacez s’il y a de signes d’usure ou de détérioration. · Vérifiez que les trous du filtre disque ne sont pas obstrués. Si nécessaire, le nettoyer à l’aide d’une épingle (Fig. 8). · La cafetière ne doit pas être lavée au lavevaisselle ! · N’utilisez ni solvant ni détergent abrasif. Il faut utiliser une éponge humide pour la nettoyer.
Ne rincez jamais le chauffe-eau sous l’eau du robinet et ne jamais le plonger dans l’eau.
RANGEMENT Il est recommandé de le ranger dans un endroit couvert et sec à une température ambiante ne dépassant pas +40°C avec une humidité relative supérieure à 70 %. L’espace de rangement doit être exempt de poussière, d’acide et d’autres vapeurs.
