Frame Assembly
Install rear frame section and derailleur hanger as shown below.
Torque specs: Top bolt (2) 8.5Nm, Bottom Bolt (4) 20Nm.

Tie Rod Assembly
Alignment
29¼ Inflate tires before performing alignment. The Spyder alignment measurement is approximately 29¼ inches (center tread to center tread), though slight variance is possible. Most importantly, make sure the alignment remains neutral with a rider seated in the trike.

Install Axle Spacer (11) between brake rotor and hub.
Handlebar Assembly
Minimum insertion of the handlebars is 7cm from the alignment marking nearest the handlebar upright.

Chain Routing
Cable Routing
Note: Internal cable routing kit is necessary to complete cable routing. Remove Spyder Head Badge and housing ferrules prior to routing cables. Chain Routing
Right Hand:
When routing RH cable housing, it is recommended to start installation at outrigger cable guide. Feed housing from outrigger to the badge window, and then through the mainframe. Next, route the housing from the mainframe through the rear frame section to rear derailleur. Finish by routing housing from outrigger cable guide, to handlebar cable guide and through handlebar. Install shifter and shift cable.

Brake Cable
Left Hand:
When routing LH cable housing, it is recommended to start installation at boom cable guide. Feed housing through boom/boom receiver tube to the badge window, and then through outrigger. Finish by routing housing from outrigger cable guide to handlebar cable guide and through handlebar. Install shifter and shift cable.

Inline Barrel Adjuster
(Spyder model only)
Install inline barrel adjuster on rear cable housing after the housing has been routed through the frame. Install the 7” cable housing section between barrel adjuster and rear derailleur.
ATC Carbon Seat Assembly
Upper: Install offset insert (4) into seat mount on mainframe. Install threaded cap (1) and through hole cap (2) into upper mounting holes on seat. Install M5x65 bolt (3) and tighten to 5Nm.
Lower: Install seat bolts (5) & (6) into lower mounting holes on seat. Install M5x45 bolt (7) and tighten to 5Nm.
Sport Touring Seat Assembly
Upper: Install offset insert (4) into seat mount on mainframe. Install M15 threaded press fit bushing (1) and M15 press fit bushing (2) into upper seat mounting tabs. Install M5x80 bolts (3) and tighten to 5Nm.
Lower: Install fixed seat bolt (5) into lower seat mounting tabs and tighten.

Flag Mount
(Sport Touring Seat only)
Flag Mount is included in parts kit box. Can be installed over the mesh on left or right bottle cage bosses located on the side rails of the Sport Touring Seat.
