Product Usage Instructions
Indoor Fixtures
- Connect the positive supply wire (typically black or the
smooth, unmarked side of the two-conductor cord) to the positive
fixture lead (B) using an appropriately sized twist-on connector.
Refer to Drawing 1 or 2 for guidance. - Connect the negative supply wire (typically white or the
ribbed, marked side of the two-conductor cord) to the negative
fixture lead (D). - Refer to the grounding instructions below to complete all
electrical connections.
Outdoor Fixtures
- Connect the positive supply wire (typically black or the
smooth, unmarked side of the two-conductor cord) to the positive
fixture lead (B) using an appropriately sized twist-on connector.
Refer to Drawing 2 or 3 for guidance. - Connect the negative supply wire (typically white or the
ribbed, marked side of the two-conductor cord) to the negative
fixture lead (D). - Cover the open end of connectors with silicone sealant to form
a watertight seal. If installing a wall mount fixture, use caulk to
seal gaps between the fixture mounting plate (backplate) and the
wall. This will help prevent water from entering the outlet box. If
the wall surface is lap siding, use caulk and a fixture mounting
platform specially. - Refer to the grounding instructions below to complete all
electrical connections.
Grounding Instructions
Follow the grounding instructions provided in the user manual
(I.S. 18) for both indoor and outdoor fixtures. If new wiring is
required, it is recommended to consult a qualified electrician or
local authorities to ensure compliance with code requirements.

TALLATION:
1. To install glass, first align notches (N) in glass (1) with tabs (T) inside glass fitter (2) located inside shade (S) – see Drawing 2. CAUTION: When installing the bottom glass make sure glass in engaged correctly to prevent it from falling out. 2. Now slip glass into fitter and twist to lock in place.

TALACION DE VIDRIO: 1. Para instalar el vidrio, primero alinee las muescas (N) en el vidrio (1) con las lengüetas (T) dentro del accesorio de vidrio (2) ubicado dentro de la pantalla (S) – vea el Dibujo 2. For positive ground ing in a 3-wir e elect ri cal system, f asten the fi xture ground wir e ( E) (typ ically coppe r or green plasti c coated) to the fi xture moun ti ng strap (M ) wit h the ground screw ( S) – see D r aw in g 1. Note: On straps for screw supported fixtures, first install the two mounting screws in strap. Any remaining tapped hole may be used for the ground screw.
