Wire Extension Kit for Curb Mounted Skylight VCS

Remove solar panel:

1. Remove screws (retain for re-installation).
2. Lift off.
3. Unplug.

Temporarily remove skylight:

1. Remove screws.
2. Lift off the skylight and rotate upside down on a scratch-free surface.

Install wire:

1. Connect wires.
2. Route wire into the “J” channel along the bottom and side of the skylight as shown.

Replace skylight:

1. Secure screw.
2. Apply downward pressure to the top of the skylight frame while securing the screws.

Mount original screws at top of skylight:

1. Place solar panel as shown and mark holes.
2. Drill holes Ø 9/64″ (3.5 mm) and only ¼” (6 mm) deep. Do not penetrate the flashing!
3. Insert original screws leaving room for installation of solar panel.

Plug, install, and secure solar panel:

1. Connect plug connectors.
2. Install solar panel over screws and tighten screws.
