Do not use in-tank cleaners in your toilet. Products containing chlorine (calcium hypochlorite) can seriously damage fittings in the tank. This damage can cause leakage and property damage.
Important Information
Remove the old toilet, T-bolts, and wax ring. Inspect and repair the water supply and waste flange. If the toilet will not be installed right away, temporarily plug the waste flange with a rag.
- Install T-bolts and a new wax ring. Remove the rag if the waste flange was plugged.
- Apply weight evenly. Do not move after placement! Watertight seal may be broken!
- Install the washers and nuts as shown. Do not overtighten! shown. Do not overtighten! before installing the bolt caps.
- If needed, cut off the T-bolts before installing the bolt caps.
- Connect the water supply and turn on the valve. Check for leaks. Do not overtighten!
- If needed, adjust the tank water level.
- Install the seat and tank lid.
