Product Information

The Hampton Bay Outdoor Table Lamp is available in three
different models: HDP06661WH, HDP06662BRNAT, and HDP06663NAT. It
comes with a three-year warranty that covers defects in materials
and workmanship. This product is designed for use in wet locations
and requires a three-wire outdoor extension cord with three-prong
grounding plugs and grounding receptacles. The lamp is suitable for
use with extension cords of cord type SEW, SEOW, SEOOW, SOW, SOOW,
STW, STOW, STOOW, SJEW, SJEOW, SJEOOW, SJW, SJOW, SJOOW, SJTW,
SJTOW, or SJTOOW.

Safety Information

Before assembling the lamp, inspect each part for defects that
may have occurred during shipping. Use only with an extension cord
for outdoor use and make sure to inspect the wire insulation for
any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred
during shipping. Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protection
is to be provided on the circuit(s) outlet(s) to be used for the
wet location portable luminaire. Receptacles are available having
built-in GFCI protection and are able to be used for this measure
of safety.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before assembling the lamp, inspect each part for defects that
    may have occurred during shipping.
  2. Spread all parts out on a clean surface.
  3. Use only with an extension cord for outdoor use, such as an
    extension cord of cord type SEW, SEOW, SEOOW, SOW, SOOW, STW, STOW,
    STOOW, SJEW, SJEOW, SJEOOW, SJW, SJOW, SJOOW, SJTW, SJTOW, or
    SJTOOW.
  4. Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed
    copper that may have occurred during shipping. If there is a defect
    in the wire, do not continue the assembly process.
  5. Assemble the lamp according to the instructions provided in the
    package contents section of the user manual.
  6. After assembly, plug the lamp into a three-wire outdoor
    extension cord that has three-prong grounding plugs and grounding
    receptacles that accept the appliance’s plug.
  7. Make sure to provide ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)
    protection on the circuit(s) outlet(s) to be used for the wet
    location portable luminaire. Receptacles are available having
    built-in GFCI protection and are able to be used for this measure
    of safety.

THREE (3) YEAR WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alteration, neglect, or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set up, or used in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear.

Read all instructions before assembly. To avoid damaging this product, place it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard.

IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not attempt assembling. Please call the Customer Service Team at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON.

NOTE: You can use one 120V, 60Hz, 60-Watt Max. medium base (E26) type “A” bulb (sold separately). Do not exceed the recommended wattage.

Assembly
1 Installing the bulb
Screw one 120V 60Hz 60-Watt Max. medium base (E26) type A bulb (sold separately) into the socket (D).

2 Assembling the glass dome
Screw the glass dome (C) into top of the lamp body (F).

4 Lighting the lamp
Plug the power cord (G) into the outlet and push the switch (E) to turn on the lamp.

Care and Cleaning
Use a dry, soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully. Do not clean with abrasive materials, bleach, or solvents.

Troubleshooting

Problem The light will not light.

Possible Cause The bulb is burned out. The power is off. The cord is not plugged inb The circuit breaker is off.

The fuse blows or a circuit breaker There is an exposed wire. trips when the light is turned on.

Solution
Replace the light bulb.
Ensure that the power supply is turned on.
Ensure the cord is plugged into an outlet.
Ensure that the circuit breaker is set in the “ON” position.
Discontinue use of the lamp. Unplug the unit from the wall. Contact a qualified electrician or call the
Customer Service Team at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON.
