My Spotclean Cordless Portable Carpet Cleaner Is Leaking | Support

LEAKING FROM BOTTOM OF MACHINE
  • If leaking is coming from bottom of the machine, check that the separator stack inside the dirty water tank is properly in place
  • The arrow on the separator stack should be in line with the lock icon on the dirty water tank
  • Remove dirty water tank
  • Twist the bottom of the float stack clockwise until arrow is lined up with lock symbol
  • Fully close the float stack in the dirty water tank
  • Remove clean water tank and fill with water
  • Check for leaking while it is detached from machine
  • If there is no leaking, remove the dirty water tank and check for water in the receiving area (under tanks)
  • If there is water in the receiving area, check that the black “duck bill” gasket is not missing or inserted wrong in the dirty water tank
  • The tall side of the “duck bill” should be inserted into the opening on the outer, rounded side of the tank
  • Take it out and squeeze the tall flap and test that it will open
  • Empty the dirty water tank and turn it over repeatedly
  • The float inside should slide back and forth easily
  • If the float is stuck, please order a replacement
    • If there is no water in the receiving area, Contact Us
LEAKING FROM THE HOSE
  • Carefully examine hose to determine where leak is coming from
    • If the leak is coming from the hose where the tool attachment attaches or where it enters the machine, please Contact Us
LEAKING FROM CLEAN WATER TANK
  • If there is leaking coming from the solution tank, check that the black, round solution valve is not stuck or pushed up
  • Try to adjust valve with your finger
    • If it is still stuck, a new tank will need to be ordered
LEAKING FROM THE DIRTY WATER TANK
  • Check that the “duck bill gasket” is all the way in place
  • If not, push in to the collection tank securely
  • Check for debris stuck in the crevices within the duck bill gasket
  • Remove the dirty water tank
  • Twist the bottom of the float stack clockwise until the arrow is lined up with the lock symbol
    • If there is still leaking, please order a new dirty water tank
