FAQS
Sub works at car toys. amp has power but i get no noise when i connect it to mine. what am i missing? gain is up too.
Check your crossover or see if your head unit has a subwoofer and if it’s on.
Does it work without hooking up the LED
Yes!
Can i take out the white front grill?
The front grill is removable
What size and type wire do I need to run from my head unit to this subwoofer location and what kind of connection on the speaker itself ??
I’d use 10-12 gauge wire from the speaker to the amp. I wouldn’t run this directly from the head unit. Smallest would be 14 gauge if you ran from head unit to speaker directly
Does the LED flash to the beat, or just stay on?
They just stay on.
Do I need a crossover with this sub?
Yes
Does the back side need to be enclosed, mounting under the aft seat/engine area
No it doesn’t. But I noticed the difference when I enclosed it
What size or type amp do I need to power this subwoofer from my head unit , my amp is already full so I will need a separate
amp to power this subwoof
3200
What type of connection is required on the speaker itself , i have rca type connections on my head unit ?
No you won’t hook up rca to speaker. That is for a low level connection like an amp. You can plug rca into an amp then run speaker wires out of your amp. Head units themselves typically can’t power a sub.
