For installation in plenum-rated airspace above a drop ceiling in a commercial building, wire-rated CL2P or CL3P is required. If you’re putting cable through the ground to outdoor speakers, it should be direct burial rated.

But, it shouldn’t damage your amp, so you can always try it if you have the cash to spare. If I were you, I would contact the manufacturer.
