HOW IN-WALL SPEAKERS WORK
In-wall speakers only affect the quality of the sound in one way: their restricted depth and width limit the cabinet’s volume to that which can be adjusted by adjusting the enclosure’s height. Even some in-wall speakers use “infinite baffle” designs, in which the wall acts as the speaker box.
HOW TO KNOW IF WALL SPEAKERS WORK
Lightly contact the speaker wire to the battery using a battery and the other end of the wire. A positive sign is when you hear noise. Check to see whether everything is connected correctly before trying again with a different cable if you can’t hear anything.
HOW TO CONNECT TO TV
Use an RCA jack on the speaker end and a 3.5mm audio jack on the TV end. You can utilize a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable if your speakers’ input interface is also 3.5mm (rather than RCA connectors).
FAQs
Yes. Although the speaker can be unscrewed from the ceiling mount, I haven’t tried it because there might be adhesive sealing the speaker’s rim.
Speakers installed in walls and ceilings are typically passive speakers. They are thus not required to be connected to a power source. They just require a connection to a receiver or amplifier that can also serve as a power supply.

Use only wire that is approved for installation inside walls. A CL2 or CL3-rated speaker wire is what you want to buy. For installation in plenum-rated airspace above a drop ceiling in a commercial building, wire-rated CL2P or CL3P is required. If you’re putting cable through the ground to outdoor speakers, it should be direct burial rated.
If at all feasible, keep your speakers away from the walls because sound waves might be affected by reflections off of nearby objects.
To prevent eye irritation, wear goggles and a head covering. gloves and long-sleeved, baggy clothing to reduce skin contact.
No, it is not wireless.
You need to know how many watts you will be pushing per channel and the resistance (ohms). Are you running at 4 ohms per channel? If so, that will fry these puppies. But, it shouldn’t damage your amp, so you can always try it if you have the cash to spare. If I were you, I would contact the manufacturer.
Each individual speaker measures 10 1/2 inches high by 7 1/2 inches wide by 6 inches deep. We’re very happy with our speakers…use them in our outdoor sunroom.
they are white. Originally, I ordered 2 pairs. 1 pair had a loose magnet and they quickly send a replacement pair. I use them in a boat and they sound pretty good.
Yes, but one stopped working two weeks later.
Yes, you as long as your amplifier can handle the load.
Yes, they are inefficient but 100 watts should be fine
These speakers are not self-powered nor have a complete sound system, so this question is not really appropriate for asking on a set of speakers that requires other components. (The only input ports in the back are speaker wire inputs.)
