Product Information
The product is a flashlight manufactured by Streamlight, Inc. It
features an adjustable beam spread and has a rechargeable battery.
The flashlight is designed to emit a green LED light when turned
on. The battery included in the product is recyclable.
Product Usage Instructions
1. Before using the flashlight for the first time, fully charge
the battery. This can be done by connecting the charger to a power
source and plugging the charger into the flashlight.
2. To turn on the flashlight, locate the switch on the unit and
press it. The green LED should turn on steadily.
3. To adjust the beam spread, turn the outer ring of the
switch.
4. Avoid shining the flashlight directly into someone’s eyes, as
it may be harmful.
5. It is important to only use official Streamlight replacement
parts for any repairs or replacements. Follow the specific
instructions provided with the replacement parts.
6. If the flashlight requires servicing, visit

the charger’s red positive power lead to the connector that is dead
when the vehicle’s fuse is removed. The charger body is
electrically isolated from the charge circuit and allows positive
ground installations.
10. It is important to properly recycle or dispose of the
battery at the end of its useful life. Check with your local solid
waste officials for recycling options or proper disposal
methods.
11. Keep the flashlight away from children and avoid direct
contact of the lamp face with any surface, including skin, while in
operation to prevent heat build-up.
12. Take necessary precautions to prevent a shorted auto battery
from causing a fire when making electrical connections in a
vehicle.

Die Gasentladungslampe braucht zum Starten viele Tausend Volt und steht unter hohem Innendruck. Schalten Sie die H.I.D. LiteBox® ERST DANN ein, wenn die Lampe und das Vorschaltgerät ordnungsgemäß im Kopf installiert ist und der Reflektor/die Linse sowie der Linsenring montiert sind.

light-Lagegeräte, können sich überhitzen und ausfallen oder eine Brandgefahr darstellen. Die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL darf an einem 12V-Fahrzeugbordnetz AUSSCHLIESSLICH mit dem Gleichstrom-Ladekabel 22050 von Streamlight (2A-SICHERUNG VERWENDEN) oder mit den Wechselstrom-Ladekabeln 22085 IEC TYP A, 22086 IEC TYP C, 22087 IEC TYP G, 22048 IEC TYP I von Streamlight geladen werden. Zum Laden der H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL schalten Sie sie zunächst aus und stecken Sie sie dann in das Ladegerät. Die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL passt nur in einer (1) Position in die Halterung. Sie wird nur geladen, wenn der Schalter ausgeschaltet ist. Die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL kann auch ohne die Halterung geladen werden, indem Sie das Ladekabel direkt in der Buchse auf der Rückseite der H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL einstecken. Zum Herausnehmen des Strahlers aus der Halterung drücken Sie die schwarze Herausfallsicherung nach unten, ziehen den Strahler von der Herausfallsicherung weg und nehmen ihn nach oben ab. Die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL ist in zwei Grundausführungen erhältlich: Das Standardmodell und das Fahrzeugmodell. Diese haben praktische Ladestationen, in denen die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL auch sicher aufbewahrt werden kann. Die Batterie hat 7 Nenn-Am-
perestunden und kann bis zu 500 Mal wiederaufgeladen werden. Der Schalter befindet sich links am Griff. Die Ladeanzeige-LEDs befinden sich auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite unterhalb des Informationsetiketts. Die rote LED zeigt an, dass der Strahler geladen wird. Die grüne LED zeigt an, dass er geladen und betriebsbereit ist. Es ist wichtig zu wissen, dass es in Anhängigkeit von der Restladung der Batterie und anderen Faktoren zwischen einigen Minuten und bis zu maximal 24 Stunden dauern kann, bis die Batterie voll geladen ist. Gegen Ende des Ladevorgangs können die rote und die grüne LED gleichzeitig leuchten. Bei voll geladener Batterie sollte die grüne LED ununterbrochen leuchten und die rote LED sollte vollständig erlöschen sein. Hinweis: Die Batterie wird kontinuierlich aufgeladen, wenn der Strahler mit externer Stromversorgung betrieben wird. Die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL kann, wenn sie nicht in Gebrauch ist, im Ladegerät aufbewahrt werden. Die mit der H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL mitgelieferte Blei-Säure-Batterie ist zwar tiefentladungsfähig, sollte aber so bald wie möglich nach Gebrauch geladen werden, um ihre maximale Lebensdauer zu erreichen. Die Batterie sollte niemals leer gemacht werden, um einem Memory-Effekt vorzubeugen, den es bei Blei-Säure-Batterien nicht gibt. Die in diesem Produkt enthaltene wiederaufladbare Batterie ist wiederverwertbar. In vielen Ländern ist es verboten, diese Batterie am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer in den Restmüll zu geben. Informieren Sie sich bei Ihrem örtlichen Entsorgungsbetrieb über die Recyclingoptionen bzw. die ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung. (In den USA: RBRC).
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE ZUM LADEKABEL · Verwenden Sie das Kabel ausschließlich wie vorgesehen. · Beschädigte Kabel oder Stecker müssen unverzüglich ausgetauscht werden. · Trennen Sie die Lampe vom Ladegerät, bevor Sie versuchen, regelmäßige Reinigungs- oder Instand-
haltungsarbeiten daran durchzuführen. Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät oder das Kabel selbst zu reparieren. Lassen Sie dies von einer qualifizierten Werkstatt durchführen oder schicken Sie das Gerät bzw. das Ladegerät ins Werk ein.
MONTAGE DES LADEGERÄTS (FAHRZEUGE) Achten Sie vor dem Vorbohren darauf, dass der Platz ausreicht, um die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HLin das Ladegerät zu stecken und wieder herauszunehmen. Mit jeder Halterung werden vier (4) selbstschneidende Blechschrauben 4 x 32 mm mitgeliefert, die für die meisten Befestigungssituationen ausreichen sollten. Verwenden Sie M4-Maschinenschrauben, wenn Sie Ihre Befestigung stabiler ausführen möchten. Die empfohlenen Montagepositionen reichen von waagerecht bis senkrecht (bei nach oben gerichtetem Ende des Strahlers).
AUFLADEN AM FAHRZEUG
VORSICHT
Bevor Sie elektrische Anschlüsse in einem Fahrzeug legen, sollten Sie bedenken, dass eine kurzgeschlossene Autobatterie leicht zu Bränden führen kann. Stellen Sie
alle Verbindungen mit typgenehmigten Verbindern her, die für derartige Zwecke vorgesehen sind.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihre Installation mit einer Sicherung abgesichert ist (im Plus-Kabel muss
eine Zehn-Ampere-Sicherung eingeschleift werden). Das rote oder rot gestreifte Anschlusskabel ist
positiv, das unmarkierte negativ. Wenn Sie das Ladegerät an einem Sicherungsblock anschließen,
geht das rote Anschlusskabel an den Anschluss, der stromlos ist, sobald die Sicherung am Fahrzeug
herausgenommen wird. Das Gehäuse des Ladegeräts ist vom Ladekreislauf isoliert und kann auf
einer positiven Erdung installiert werden.
Dieses Ladegerät ist mit zwei (2) 12V-Stromkabeln lieferbar: mit Stecker für den Zigarettenanzünder oder als feste Verkabelung für eine dauerhafte Installation. Streamlight empfiehlt, Ladegeräte mit einer nicht geschalteten Stromquelle zu verbinden, um sicherzustellen, dass die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL stets voll geladen ist. Wenn das Fahrzeug mehrere Tage lang nicht bewegt wird, sollte die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL aus dem Ladegerät genommen werden, um ein Entladen der Autobatterie zu verhindern.
Wenn die HH.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL mit vollständig entladener Batterie geladen wird, werden etwa 3 Amperestunden verbraucht, bis die Batterie voll geladen ist, und bis zu 0,25 Ampere kontinuierlich im Ladezustand-Erhaltungsmodus (grün).
Hinweis: Die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL zieht während des Ladevorgangs/bei Betrieb im externen Stromversorgungsmodus etwa 7 Amperestunden.
BEDIENUNG DES STRAHLERS HINWEIS Laden Sie die Batterie vor dem ersten Gebrauch voll auf.
· Die H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL hat einen Schalter mit drei Positionen, der den Betrieb der Lampe steuert. Drücken Sie den Schalter nach oben, um sie mit Strom aus der eingebauten Batterie zu versorgen, oder nach unten, um sie über das mitgelieferte, 3 Meter lange Zuleitungskabel mit externem 12-Volt-Strom zu versorgen.
· In der Mittelstellung ist sie ausgeschaltet. · Je nach Vorschaltgerät und Glühbirne in der H.I.D. LiteBox® kann die Gasentladungslampe gegen
Ende der Brenndauer flackern oder plötzlich verlöschen (nur bei Betrieb über die eingebaute Batterie). · Die H.I.D. LiteBox® hat einen um 270° drehbaren Schwenkkopf. Zum Lösen der Arretierung an den seitlichen Laschen ziehen. Den Kopf NICHT über seine Arretierungen hinaus drehen. Den Kopf bei Nichtgebrauch wieder sichern. · Die E-Flood® LiteBox® HL hat einen schwenkbaren Kopf, der je nach Wunsch nach oben oder nach unten eingestellt werden kann. Lösen Sie die am Griff befestige Arretierung und richten Sie den Kopf in die gewünschte Richtung. Drehen Sie die Arretierung fest, um die Stellung beizubehalten. · Die Mitte der Linse der E-Flood® LiteBox® HL hat einen konzentrischen Schalter, mit dem die Helligkeitseinstellung gewählt wird (hell-mittel-abgeblendet). Drücken Sie den Schalter mittig, um die gewünschte Helligkeit einzustellen. Der Außenring des Schalters kann gedreht werden, um die Weite des Lichtkegels einzustellen.
PRODUKTVERWENDUNG: Streamlight®-Taschenlampen sind dazu vorgesehen, als tragbare Hochleistungs-Lichtquellen für harte Einsätze verwendet zu werden. Der Hersteller rät ausdrücklich davon ab, Streamlight- Taschenlampen für andere Zwecke als als Lichtquellen zu verwenden. Für andere Verwendungen als empfohlen lehnt Streamlight ausdrücklich jede Haftung ab.

The H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL may be stored in the charger continuously when not in use. While the lead-acid battery supplied with the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL has been specifically selected to tolerate deep discharges, the battery should be charged as soon as possible after use to ensure maximum service life. The battery should never be “exercised” in an attempt to erase “memory” which does not occur with lead-acid batteries.
The rechargeable battery contained in this product is recyclable. At the end of its useful life, under various country and state laws, it may be illegal to dispose of this battery in the municipal solid waste stream. Check with your local solid waste officials for details in your area for recycling options or proper disposal (In USA: RBRC).
CHARGE CORD SAFETY · Don’t abuse the cord. · Replace damaged cords or plugs immediately. · Remove light from charge before attempting any routine cleaning or maintenance. Do not try to
repair the unit or cord yourself. Take it to a qualified service facility or return it to the factory.
MOUNTING THE CHARGER (VEHICLES) Before drilling any holes, make sure there is room to insert and remove the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL. Four (4) self-tapping 1 1/4″ #8 screws are included with each mounting rack and should be sufficient for most mounting situations. Should your mounting situation require heavier hardware, use #8 machine screws. The recommended mounting positions are from horizontal to vertical (with the lamp end facing up).
VEHICULAR CHARGING CAUTION Before making electrical connections in a vehicle, keep in mind that a shorted auto battery can easily start a fire. Make all connections with type-approved connectors intended
for such service. Be sure that your installation is fused (A ten ampere fuse must be used on the positive lead). The red or red striped lead is positive and the unmarked lead is negative. When connecting the charger to a fuse block, the red positive power lead goes to the connector that is dead when the vehicle’s fuse is removed. The charger body is electrically isolated from the charge circuit and allows positive ground installations.
This charger is available with two (2) plug-in DC power cords: a cigarette lighter plug or direct wire for permanent installation. Streamlight recommends connecting chargers to an unswitched source of power to ensure the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL is always fully charged. If the vehicle will not be driven for several days, the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL should be removed from the charger to avoid vehicle battery drain.
Charging the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL with a fully discharged battery draws approximately 3 ampere hours until fully charged and up to ¼ ampere continuously in maintenance (green) mode.
Note: The H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL draws approximately 7 ampere hours while charging/ operating in the external power mode.
USING THE LIGHT NOTICE Fully charge the battery before first use.
· H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL features a 3 position switch that controls the operation of the lamp. Push the switch upward to operate from the internal battery or downward to operate from external 12VDC power via the supplied 10 foot cord.
· The center position is the “off” position. · Depending on the actual ballast and lamp used in the H.I.D. LiteBox®, the H.I.D. lamp may flash in-
termittently or suddenly extinguish altogether at the end of the H.I.D. run time (internal battery only). · The H.I.D. LiteBox® features a swivel head that rotates 270 degrees. Pull side tabs to release. DO
NOT force the head beyond its swivel stops. Resecure the head when not in use. · The E-Flood® LiteBox® HL features a pivoting head that can be adjusted upward or downward as
desired. Loosen the handle mounted pivot control knob and direct the head to the desired position. Tighten the knob to maintain the adjustment. · The center of the lens on the E-Flood® LiteBox® HL is equipped with a concentric switch that is used to select the brightness setting (Hi-Med-Lo). Depress the center of the switch to select the desired

To charge the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL, first turn it off and insert it into the charger. H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL will only fit one (1) way into the mounting rack. Charging will occur only when the switch is “off.” The H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL may also be charged without using the mounting rack by plugging the charge cord directly into the socket in the rear of the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL. To release the light from the mounting rack, push the black release bar down, slide the light away from the release bar and lift up.
The H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL is available in two basic systems: the Standard model and the Vehicle model and they come with convenient recharging racks that also securely store the H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL. The battery is rated at a nominal 7 ampere-hours and is capable of being recharged up to 500 times. The switch is on the left side of the handle. A pair of charging indicators is located on the opposite side underneath the information label. The red LED means that the light is charging. The green LED means it is charged and ready for use. It is important to understand that a battery can take from only minutes to a maximum of 24 hours to fully charge depending on the battery’s residual charge and other factors. SEGURIDAD DEL CABLE DE CARGA · Sea cuidadoso con el cable. · Sustituya de inmediato los enchufes o cables estropeados. · Retire la linterna del cargador antes de proceder a la limpieza o de realizar el mantenimiento de
rutina. No trate de reparar la linterna ni el cable por su cuenta. Llévelos a un centro de servicio cualificado o devuélvalos a fábrica.
INSTALACIÓN DEL CARGADOR (VEHÍCULOS) Antes de perforar cualquier orificio, asegúrese de que haya espacio para insertar y extraer la H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL. Se incluyen cuatro (4) tornillos de grado 8 de 3,17 cm (1 ¼ de pulg.) autorroscantes con cada soporte de montaje, deberían bastar para la mayoría de situaciones de montaje. Si la situación de montaje requiriese un herraje más sólido, utilice tornillos para metales de grado 8. Las posiciones de montaje recomendadas son de horizontal a vertical (con el extremo de la lámpara orientado hacia arriba).
CARGA EN EL VEHÍCULO CUIDADO Antes de realizar conexiones eléctricas en un vehículo, tenga en cuenta que un cortocircuito en la batería del vehículo podría provocar con facilidad un incendio. Haga todas
las conexiones con conectores del tipo aprobado previstos para dicho servicio. Asegúrese de que la instalación está protegida con fusible (debe usarse un fusible de diez amperios en el borne positivo). El cable rojo o el cable con tiras rojas es positivo y el cable sin marcar es negativo. Al conectar el cargador a un bloque de fusibles, el cable de alimentación positivo rojo va en el conector que está inactivo cuando el fusible del vehículo no está instalado. El cuerpo del cargador está aislado eléctricamente del circuito de carga y permite realizar instalaciones a tierra positivas. Este cargador está disponible con dos (2) cables de alimentación CC con enchufe: un enchufe para encendedor de cigarrillos o un cable directo para su instalación permanente. Streamlight recomienda conectar cargadores a una fuente de alimentación sin conmutar para garantizar que la H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL esté siempre completamente cargada. SÉCURITÉ DU CORDON DE CHARGE · Ne pas soumettre le cordon à un usage abusif. · Remplacer immédiatement les cordons ou fiches endommagés. · Débrancher la lampe du chargeur avant toute opération de nettoyage ou d’entretien courant. Ne pas
tenter de réparer soi-même l’appareil ou le cordon. Les confier à un service de réparation qualifié ou les renvoyer à l’usine.
MONTAGE DU CHARGEUR (VÉHICULES) Avant de percer des trous, s’assurer qu’il y a suffisamment de place pour insérer et retirer la H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL. Quatre (4) vis auto-taraudeuses 3,17 cm n° 8 sont fournies avec chaque rack de montage et devraient suffire pour la majorité des situations de montage. Si la situation de montage exige une visserie plus lourde, utiliser des vis à métaux n° 8. Les positions de montage recommandées sont de l’horizontale à la verticale (avec l’extrémité de la lampe dirigée vers le haut).
CHARGE DANS VÉHICULE ATTENTION Avant d’effectuer tout raccordement électrique à un véhicule, garder à l’esprit qu’une batterie automobile en court-circuit peut aisément démarrer un incendie. Réaliser
tous les branchements au moyen de prises agréées, prévues à cet effet. S’assurer que l’installation est munie de fusibles (Un fusible de dix ampères doit être utilisé sur le fil positif). Le fil rouge ou à rayures rouges est positif et le fil non marqué est négatif. Lors de la connexion du chargeur à un bloc de fusibles, le fil d’alimentation rouge positif va vers le connecteur qui est mort lorsque le fusible du véhicule est retiré. Le corps du chargeur est électriquement isolé du circuit de charge et permet des mises à la terre positives. Ce chargeur est disponible avec deux (2) cordons d’alimentation CC : à prise allume-cigare ou à câblage direct pour une installation permanente. Streamlight recommande de connecter les chargeurs à une source d’alimentation non commutée pour s’assurer que la H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL est toujours complètement chargée. Si le véhicule ne doit pas être conduit pendant plusieurs jours, la H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL doit être retirée du chargeur pour éviter de décharger la batterie du véhicule. Charger la H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL avec une pile complètement déchargée consomme approximativement 3 A/h jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit complètement chargée et jusqu’à ¼ A en continu en mode de maintenance (vert). Afloje la perilla de control de pivote instalada en el mango y dirija el cabezal hacia la posición deseada. Apriete la perilla para mantener el ajuste. · El centro de la óptica de la E-Flood® LiteBox® HL está equipado con un interruptor concéntrico que se utiliza para seleccionar el nivel de luminosidad (Hi-Med-Lo/Alto-Medio-Bajo). · La H.I.D. LiteBox®/E-Flood® LiteBox® HL est munie d’un commutateur à 3 positions qui contrôle le fonctionnement de la lampe. Appuyer sur le commutateur vers le haut pour fonctionner à partir de la pile interne ou vers le bas pour fonctionner à partir d’un secteur externe de 12 V CC. via le cordon fourni de 3 mètres (10 pieds).
· La position centrale est la position « off » (éteinte). · En fonction du ballast et de la lampe réels utilisés dans la H.I.D. LiteBox®, la lampe H.I.D. peut
clignoter de manière intermittente ou s’éteindre brusquement à la fin de la durée de fonctionnement de la H.I.D. (pile interne uniquement). · La H.I.D. LiteBox® est munie d’une tête pivotante qui tourne à 270 degrés. Tirer sur les languettes latérales pour libérer. NE PAS forcer la tête au-delà de ses butées orientables. Resserrer la tête lorsque la lampe n’est pas utilisée. · L’E-Flood® LiteBox® HL est munie d’une tête pivotante qui peut être ajustée vers le haut ou vers le bas selon les besoins. Desserrer le bouton de contrôle pivotant monté sur la poignée et diriger la tête vers la position souhaitée. Serrer le bouton pour maintenir l’ajustement. · Le centre de la lentille sur l’E-Flood® LiteBox® HL est muni d’un commutateur concentrique utilisé pour sélectionner le réglage de luminosité (Hi-Med-Lo [Fort-Moy-Faible]). Appuyer sur le centre du commutateur pour sélectionner la puissance souhaitée. La bague externe du commutateur peut être tournée pour ajuster l’étendue du faisceau.
