Frequently Asked Questions
We love it! The filters are full of gunk when I replace them. Carbon filters last us about 3 months and the hepa filter about a year. We love it so much we bought a larger one for the living room. This one is kept in our bedroom. Allergy and asthma symptoms are definitely reduced using this air purifier.
This is an old question but I just noticed it when ordering a new purifier. I’m answering in case someone more recently has same question. We’ve had this air purifier in my daughter’s bedroom for a couple of years now. We quickly noticed the light changing to red but it always coincides with a change in her room.
This is directly from there website:
Not sure. I don’t smoke or allow smoking in my house.
Yes. Just press & hold the ionizer button for a few seconds and it will shut off. We leave the ionizer off all the time.
Only the air passing through the filtration system will be affected.
The carbon filter should be replaced every 3 months, and the HEPA filter needs to be replaced once per year.
27.25Hx7.25Wx8.5D.
check the manual, the lights refer to air quality, you are probably set to the factory default position
Carbon filter is every three months. A red light went on one night, indicating the carbon filter needed to be changed. I changed it the next day. I’m told the HEPA filter is changed once a year. It’s very handy having the light come in, indicating what is needed.
Stronger the better. It has a Hepa filtration and is probably as good as you can do.
There is no way to reduce the brightness of the display, but it doesn’t disturb me when I am trying to sleep.
The 93203 is designed to be used in a 120V setting and should not be used in a 220-240V environment.
The unit is quiet. You barely hear the fan noise only when it is set to Level 3. Overall, very happy with the unit.
The units use a VOC sensor to detect contaminants in the air. As increased levels of contaminants are detected, the unit increases its fan speed, cleans the air until the level of contaminant is decreased, and then returns to the lower speeds.
