Set up your Essential Video Doorbell Wired

Your Arlo Essential Video Doorbell Wired requires a wired doorbell and chime with a voltage between 16 – 24VAC.

The 24VAC transformer is provided for homes with doorbell systems that use voltages outside this range. If the transformer is required, have it installed by a certified electrician.

1. Find your doorbell, chime box, and the electrical panel at your home.
2. Download the Arlo app from the App Store or Google Play.
   
3. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Arlo app to install.

WARNING: To prevent fire and injury, connect the Arlo Video Doorbell and Power Kit only to a voltage between 16 – 24VAC.

Tools

• A Phillips head screwdriver is required to install the doorbell (not provided).
• You might also benefit from having a drill, a level, and a ladder (to reach the chime).
