At first, we suggest you to install the bumper set on the snow chain’s external side hooks.

- Please ensure the cursor on the tensioning device is at the lower position. In fact, with this setup, you can unlock the tensioning mechanism and proceed with installation.
- Grab both external rigid arch’s extemities and spread them open up to the maximum extension. This will make the red micro-cable to bleed out the two outer extremities
- Now grab the two extremities of the internal arch and spread them open to the maximum extension. This will make the red micro-cable to bleed out the two inner extremities.
- Hold the ends of the inner arch and start fitting the chain on the tyre from the upper part. Ideally you have to place the by-pass inner portion (A) on the internal tyre’s sidewall at 12 o’clock.
- Now push the two extremities (B) behind the wheel.

- Please make sure that all internal elements (A and B) are correctly positioned.
- Now you can activate the tensioning device by switching the red cursor to the LOCK position (upper one).
- The snow chain is properly installed and the tensioning is activated. Now you can start driving, ensuring to cover at least an hundred meters at low speed, while the snow chain reaches the definitive tensioning level.

Dismounting

- The snow chain can be removed from the wheel at different positions. In any case, to facilitate the process, we suggest you to remove the chain when the by-pass (A) is positioned at 12:00.
- Release the tension by switching the red cursor to the unlocked position.

Grab the two external arch’s extremities and pull towards yourself to obtain the bleed of the red micro-cable.
To facilitate this operation, you can gently pull the micro-cable directly towards the external side.
Now grab one of the two internal rigid arch’s extremities (B) and pull it out of the tyre towards the external side
Now move the vehicle enough to set the chain, stuck under the wheel, finally free.You can move the vehicle frontwards or backwards.

ATTENTION:

Each tyre dimension has only one snow chain size and it is compulsory to respect it.
Check that the tyre dimension of the vehicle matches one of the sizes indicated on the box label.
Check the “Usage and Maintenance” manual of the vehicle and respect the indications specified.
On dry roads chains are ineffective and they highly
limit the control of the vehicle.
Make sure that the chains are in perfect conditions.
When the wear of the links is more than 45% of the thickness, snow chains must be changed not to damage the vehicle
