MLN 200-2 Measuring Leads

Product Information

Product Name: MLN 200/2,5 Measuring Leads

Product Description: Measuring lead with a 4 mm diameter
plug at either end. The plug has a caged spring and a 4 mm diameter
socket for tower construction. The contact spring is made of
nickel-plated copper beryllium. The lead is highly flexible, double
insulated stranded lead, designed to be shatter-proof. It also has
a built-in color indicator for easy identification of insulation
damages.

Article Number: BA401

Color Options: Black, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Brown,
Gray, White, Violet, Yellow Green

Technical Data:

  • Rated Voltage Measurement: 30 VAC / 60 VDC (CAT. acc. to
    IEC 61010)
  • Rated Current: 32 A (consider derating curve)
  • Material Plug: Brass, Nickel-plated
  • Housing Material: PA (inflammability class acc. to UL
    94: V-2)
  • Cable Length: 200 cm
  • Conductor Size Cable Material: Contact the manufacturer
for applications at deviating temperature ranges
  • Stand: Valid until 21.06.2022

Product Usage Instructions

1. Connect the 4 mm diameter plug with caged spring to the
desired measurement device or circuit.

2. Connect the other end of the measuring lead, which has a 4 mm
diameter socket, to the tower construction or another compatible
device.

3. Ensure that the lead is securely connected at both ends to
prevent any measurement errors.

4. Use the highly flexible and double insulated stranded lead to
position and maneuver the measuring leads as required for accurate
measurements.

5. Check the built-in color indicator to easily identify any
insulation damages. If any damages are found, replace the measuring
lead.

6. Take note of the rated voltage measurement (30 VAC / 60 VDC)
and the rated current (32 A) to ensure safe and accurate
measurements. Consider any derating curves if applicable.

7. When handling the measuring leads, avoid exposing them to
temperatures outside the specified temperature ranges. Contact the
manufacturer for applications at deviating temperature ranges.

8. The measuring leads have a cable length of 200 cm, providing
sufficient reach for most measurement scenarios.

9. Ensure proper storage and maintenance of the measuring leads
to prolong their lifespan and maintain their performance.
