INSTALLATION
Front
Connect your headset and game controller to the audio ports to capture both your commentary and party chat.
Back
Connect your devices to the back of LGP2+ as shown.
OPERATION
RECentral Button
Press once to start recording or streaming, press again to stop. You can configure these in RECentral.
The LED indicates the state of LGP2+: 
* Check your signal, network connection, resolution, storage, or microSD card.
Mode Switch
Flick the switch to use LGP2+ between three modes.
Audio Buttons
* Use Monitor Mode to check the balance of your output volume.

can i use the usb port to record on my macbook pro (2015)? thanks!
Yes, but you need to disable the HDCP-protected signals. You could download our RECentral to turn it off.
do I need a specific headset to record party chat and game chat?
Nope, as long as its wired and has a 3.5 jack you are all good! I have turtle beaches and a razor!
Would I be able to plug a second headset into the other 3.5mm jack instead of a controller to record audio from another person?
At one time only one headset can be connected to the LGP2 Plus, it’s OK to connect the headset with the controller simultaneously. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact AVerMedia Support.
Is this compatible with Linux?
it is a UVC capture device so it probably works but hasn’t been tested before.
can I record my ps4 party chat and my voice as well without the need of a pc?

Will usb 3.0 work? My PC only has the 3.0 not the 3.1 slots

Will this work with a fire stick?
Tevhincally. Probably yes. But you wontTV be able to stream copyright protected content with it.
Does the live gamer portable 2 plus include the hardware h.264 encoder? what format is recorded onto the sd card in standalone mode?
According to their website, it does use h.264 hardware encoding. Video format for stand alone would be MPEG 4.
How can you record partychat?
If you are using this on a desktop you will need OBS

Can you use a usb storage device instead of a sd card for pc free mode?
No you cant, only micro sd card
Can i use this on macbook air with 10.10.5system? do i need to buy extra converter? hoe does gc553 compare with gc513?
