Description: The Darlana Large Wrapped Lantern
is a light fixture designed for installation in accordance with
local installation codes. It comes with all the necessary parts for
assembly, including a mounting plate, collar loop, canopy, rods,
tubes, fixture frame, chain, quick links, and fixture cluster.
Notice: This light fixture should only be
installed by a person familiar with its construction and operation,
as well as the associated hazards. Carefully inspect the item and
its contents before installation. If any damage or defect is found,
do not proceed with installation. Retain all packaging material
until installation is complete and approved.
Bulbs: Bulbs are not included with the
product.
Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a
clean, soft surface. - Install the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using the
provided mounting screws (C). - Secure the collar loop (D) to the mounting plate (B) by
tightening the locknut with pliers. - Attach the canopy (E) to the collar loop (D) and secure it with
the collar ring (F). - Thread the rods (M) to the bottom frame (N), then slide the
tubes (K) over the rods (M) and rest them on the bottom frame
(N). - Install the top fixture frame (J) to the top of the rods (M)
and secure it with screws (Q) and threaded caps (P). - Determine the desired overall length and amount of chain (H)
needed. Shorten the chain using chain pliers, keeping the extra
chain. - Attach the chain (H) to the collar loop (D) and fixture loop
(I) using quick links (G). Secure the quick links (G). - Hang the fixture cluster (O) to the hook on the bottom of the
fixture loop (I), then pass the fixture wires through the hole in
the fixture frame. - Thread the fixture wire and ground wire through the chain (H).
When reaching the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on
the wires. Cut excess wires, leaving enough to reach the junction
box. - Separate the two sides of the molded wire and strip insulation
on each side by 5/8 inch. - Loosen the collar ring (F) and carefully let the canopy (E)
slip down the chain (H). - Twist all fixture wires together and slip them through the
center hole of the collar.
Care Instructions
Clean the product only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster.
Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface. 2. Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with
mounting screws (C). 3. Secure collar loop (D) to mounting plate (B) using pliers to tighten
locknut. 4. Install canopy (E) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (F). 5. Thread rods (M) to the bottom frame (N), then slide tubes (K) over
rods (M) and rest on bottom frame (N). 6. Install top fixture frame (J) to the top of the rods (M) and secure with
screws (Q) and threaded caps (P). 7. Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (H) needed.
Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain) 8. Attach chain (H) to collar loop (D) and fixture loop (I) using quick
links (G). Secure quick links (G). 9. Hang fixture cluster (O) to hook on bottom of fixture loop (I), then
pass fixture wires through the hole in fixture frame. 10. Thread fixture wire and ground wire through chain (H).
NOTE: When you reach the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box.

11. Separate two sides of molded wire, and strip insulation on each 5/8″. 12. Loosen collar ring (F) and let canopy (E) slip down chain (H) carefully. 13. Twist all fixture wires together, and slip through center hole of collar
loop (D). NOTE: Untwist wires and separate to prepare for connection. 14. Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A). NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. 15. Connect fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A). 16. Connect fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. 17. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box. 18. Install canopy (E) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (F). 19. Install light bulbs into the sockets.
