SGMS Floor Sweep
Product Information
The SGMS (Spa Grommet Mounting System) is a component used for
installing grommets in spa walls. It is designed to securely hold
grommets in place, providing a reliable seal and preventing
leaks.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the spa wall
Clean and dry the area where the grommet will be installed.
Ensure there are no obstructions or debris that may affect the
installation process. - Step 2: Install the grommet
Take the grommet and press it into place on the spa wall. Make
sure the flange of the grommet bottoms out against the wall for a
secure fit. - Step 3: Lubricate the grommet and SGMS
componentUsing window cleaner or a suitable lubricant, apply a thin layer
of lubrication to both the grommet and the SGMS component. This
will help facilitate smooth installation and prevent any sticking
or binding. - Step 4: Set the SGMS Component
Position the SGMS component at the desired orientation and press
it into the grommet. Ensure it fits securely. To further secure the
SGMS fitting, use the appropriate size SGMS installation tool along
with a rubber mallet. - Step 5: Tap the SGMS fitting into
positionGently tap the SGMS fitting into position using the rubber
mallet. Continue tapping until the fitting is fully inserted and
flush with the grommet flange. This will ensure a tight seal and
proper installation.

SGMS Installation Instructions
1. Location of SGMS Fitting SGMS fittings must be located on a flat surface with no curves or bends, within ½” from the outer diameter of SGMS fitting. Mark desired center of component on spa wall.
2. Drilling Drill a ¼” pilot hole before using a hole saw to prevent chipping on the spa wall with the hole saw. Using the correct hole saw, drill the hole so that the drill is straight and perpendicular to the spa wall as possible (See attached Drill Guide). Clean debris in and around hole with a rag.
3. Installing the Grommet Press the grommet into place so that the flange bottoms out against the spa wall. See Figure 3.
4. Lubrication Using window cleaner, lubricate the grommet and SGMS component.
5. Setting the SGMS Component Press the SGMS component at the desired orientation into the grommet, then using the proper size SGMS installation tool and rubber mallet, tap the SGMS fitting into position until it sets flush with the grommet flange.
