Please read the instructions below to ensure the most accurate and secure fit for your Cat Shield. Professional installation is recommended.

TOOLS REQUIRED
- ¼” bit driver
- Protective eyewear
INSTALLATION TIPS
- Torque specs for M8 tamper-proof screws: 68-135 inch lbs.
- Assistance is recommended to hold the shield in place.
- Do not use impact tool or electric drills.
STEP 1
Install the two wings onto the shield. Using the 12 short tamper-proof screws, install the left and right side wings to the main shield. Refer to image A.
STEP 2
Install the rear end of the shield. Use a stand or partner to hold the shield in place and install the rear end of the shield first. There are two nut plates that sit on top of the rear cross member which will lock the rear shield to the frame (refer to image C). Use the two long tamper-proof screws to lock the shield to cross member and nut plate. The screw will fasten to the two innermost holes on the shield (refer to image D). The outer holes are used in the Hybrid versions only.
STEP 3
Install the front end of the shield. Locate the two threaded holes in the front cross member and use the two medium length tamper-proof screws to secure the shield to the vehicle.
STEP 4
Apply Cat Shield sticker (optional). Place the sticker on the vehicle to warn thieves this vehicle is protected by Cat Shield!
