P0376 Akron Contemporary Oil Rubbed Bronze Hanging Pendant Light

Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture that requires assembly and
installation. The fixture can accommodate a maximum 60W Type A bulb
(not included) and can be adjusted from a length of 16-3/4 to
70-3/4 inches. The hardware package includes a mounting strap unit,
mounting screw, wire connector, and bolt nut. The fixture also
comes with a canopy kit, upper rod, middle rod, lower rod, threaded
pipe, stem, and green ground screw.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Turn off the power at the fuse or circuit box.
  2. Attach the mounting strap unit (A) to the outlet box using two
    mounting screws (B).
  3. Thread the stem onto the fixture and connect the fixture wire
    through the lower, middle, and upper rods using the threaded pipe.
    Use fewer rods if a shorter length is desired.
  4. Thread the fixture wire through the canopy kit and secure the
    rod assembly to the set threaded pipe of the canopy kit.
  5. Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the
    black wire from the power source, and connect the ribbed-coated
    wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire from the power
    source. Attach the fixture ground wire to the mounting strap unit
    (A) with the green ground screw, then connect it to the house
    ground wire with a wire connector (C). Carefully put the wires back
    into the outlet box.
  6. Attach the canopy kit to the mounting strap unit (A), and then
    secure it with two bolt nuts (D).
  7. Install a maximum of five 60W medium base bulbs (not included)
    following the relamping label at the socket area or packaging for
    maximum wattage allowed.
  8. For a vaulted or angled ceiling, angled mounting is
    recommended.
  9. Turn on the power at the fuse or circuit box.

Installation Steps
Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box
1. Attach the mounting strap unit (A) to the outlet box by using two mounting screws (B).
2. Thread the stem onto the fixture.
3. Rod Connections: a. Thread the fixture wire from the fixture through the lower rod, then secure the lower rod onto fixture using the threaded pipe. b. Thread the fixture wire through the middle rod and then secure the middle rod onto the lower rod using the threaded pipe. c. Thread the fixture wire through the upper rod, then secure the upper rod onto the middle rod using the threaded pipe. Note: Length adjustable from 16-3/4″ to 70-3/4″. Use fewer rods if shorter length is desired.
4. Thread the fixture wire through the canopy kit, then secure the rod assembly to the set threaded pipe of the canopy kit.

5. Pull out the source wires from the outlet box. Make wire connections using wire connectors (C) as follows:

—Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.

—Connect the ribbed-coated wire (unmarked) from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.

—Attach the fixture ground wire to the mounting strap unit (A) with the green ground screw, then connect it to

the house ground wire with a wire connector (C).

Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.

6. Attach the canopy kit to the mounting strap unit (A), and then secure

it with two bolt nuts (D).

7. Install 5 x 60W max. medium base bulb (not included). See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum wattage allowed.
8. Angled mounting recommended for a vaulted or angled ceiling. (See Fig.1)
