Product Information
The product is a grill controller replacement guide. It provides
instructions for removing and replacing the controller of the
grill. The guide also includes information on the tools required
for the process and a video link for removal and replacement. Some
grill parts shown in the assembly steps may differ slightly in
appearance from those on your particular grill model. However, the
method of assembly remains the same.

Warranty Part Replacement Guide – Controller
Prior to any service, unplug power cord. Remove warming rack,
cooking grates, and emitters. Remove doors and fascia screws. Use
the tip of the screwdriver to push the spring pin upward, then pull
the door away from the cabinet. Repeat for each side. Remove side
shelf fascia, control panel screws, and pull control panel straight
out and rotate downward. Unplug wires and remove controller heat
shield and controller. Then replace with new parts. Connect wires
and finger tighten valve, valve bracket, burner. VERY IMPORTANT:
Burner tubes must reengage valve openings when placing control
panel assembly back on grill. Secure control panel and fascia
screws. Replace doors, emitters, cooking grates, and warming
rack.

Product Usage Instructions
- Unplug power cord before any service.
- Remove warming rack, cooking grates, and emitters.
- Remove doors and fascia screws. Use the tip of the screwdriver
to push the spring pin upward, then pull the door away from the
cabinet. Repeat for each side. - Remove side shelf fascia, control panel screws, and pull
control panel straight out and rotate downward. - Unplug wires and remove controller heat shield and controller.
Then replace with new parts. Tip: When installing new controller,
start two nuts at bottom mounting location, then slide bottom edge
of controller under nuts for easier installation. Controller heat
shield must be reinstalled after controller is set in place. - Connect wires. Ensure thick ignition wire and ground cable are
attached to the correct locations. - Finger tighten valve, valve bracket, and burner. VERY
IMPORTANT: Burner tubes must reengage valve openings when placing
control panel assembly back on grill. - Secure control panel and fascia screws.
- Replace doors, emitters, cooking grates, and warming rack.
IMPORTANT: Infrared emitters must be placed keeping both flat walls
overlapped to prevent any flare-up. Inspect your infrared emitter
before each use to ensure that the openings are not covered with
debris. See the Grilling Guide for detailed cleaning
instructions.

1 Prior to any service, unplug power cord. 2 Remove Warming Rack, Cooking Grates and Emitters.

3 Remove Doors 4 Remove Fascia Screws.

Use tip of screwdriver to push spring pin upward, then pull door away from cabinet.
Repeat for each side.

5 Remove side shelf fascia.

6 Remove Control Panel Screws. Hold control panel when removing screws to prevent from falling.
Repeat for each side.

7 Pull Control Panel straight out and rotate downward.

8 Unplug wires.
Tip: Use needle nose pliers to remove valve harness and temp probe wires. Hold controller connector while gently wiggling and removing the wire. · Press small tab on power cable connector to release connector and pull. · Ensure thick ignition wire and ground cable are attached to the locations
shown below.

9 Remove controller heat shield and controller. Then replace with new parts. Tip: When installing new controller, start two nuts at bottom mounting location, then slide bottom edge of controller under nuts for easier installation. 10 Connect wires. Ensure thick ignition wire and ground cable are attached to the locations shown below.

11 Install Control Panel assembly. · When reinstalling, ensure ignitor wire is routed over the top of the valve bracket. · First, line up valve with burner tubes, pushing right side of control panel in place as needed to help with alignment. · Reach inside firebox to adjust burner tube position as needed. With tubes on valve, slide left side of control panel into place. · Finger tighten control panel screws on each side while holding control panel in place

15 Replace Emitters, Cooking Grates and Warming Rack.
IMPORTANT: Infrared emitters must be placed keeping both flat walls overlapped to prevent any flare-up.
Inspect your infrared emitter before each use to ensure that the openings are not covered with debris. See the Grilling Guide for detailed cleaning instructions.
Align cast iron grate to the infrared emitter as shown.
