INSTALLATION GUIDE
COMPONENTS
OE-STYLE SWITCH SETUP
STEP 1
To install the switch, your vehicle will need an open 1 in x 1.5 in slot on the dashboard.
STEP 2
Run the rocker switch chosen slot, then connect the control box.
STEP 3
Use the switch to turn “ON” the kit using the OE-style switch.
STEP 4
Connect to the control box through the OPT7 CONNECT App.
AUX WIRING FOR A DOOR/DOME LIGHT
You may choose the desire color choice directly on the Aura App.
This feature will activate when the aux wiring is connected to the trigger wire for door light or positive wire of dome light.
**Note: Trigger wire for door light is recommended if your dome light lights up progressively when opening door.
INSTALLATION
STEP 1
Inspect kit to ensure all contents was included.
STEP 2
Prepare the mounting area by removing all dirt and foreign debris and applying the included Adhesive Booster.
STEP 3
Decide where to locate the light strips and ensure wiring has enough length for control box to be installed in desired location.
*The control box is NOT waterproof. Tuck it away from the elements.

STEP 3
Scan the QR code on the back of the control box to download the app.
STEP 4
Secure Control box in desired location with Velcro or zipties.
* The control box is NOT waterproof.
Tuck it away from the elements.
STEP 6
Secure the light strips using double sided tape and secure all the wiring away from the moving components.
* IMPORTANT: The LED connectors are not waterproof. You will need to use HEAT SHRINK TUBE (not included) or ELECTRICAL TAPE around the LED connectors to ensure the longevity of the lighting kit.
STEP 7
Open the “OPT7 Connect” App, pair your smart phone to the control box, and pick your desired color! Optional Features: See second page for additional steps.
