INSTALLATIONPerma Child-Safety 2794-8x-Magnetic-Locks-with-Key-fig- (1)

  • Align the adhesive catch with the edge of the drawer, make sure the arrows are pointing outwards and press firmly. Note: For added strength, fix in position with screws provided.
  • Slide the guide under the catch with the adhesive strip facing out and ensure the lines on the guide are aligned with the edge of the catch. Peel adhesive on the guide and close the drawer.
  • Open the drawer, peel the adhesive on the magnetic lock, and place in the center of the guide. Apply pressure.
  • Remove the paper guide. Note: For added strength fix it in position with the screws provided.

To open, place the magnetic key on the outside of the door or drawer at the spot where the lock is positioned, the drawer will be unlocked and ready to open. Close the drawer without key to engaging the lock
To deactivate the lock (When not in use) without dismantling the product: Move the lock slide button up, the lock is deactivated. The product then stays in an unlocked position.

CAUTION: Magnetic Key should be kept out of reach of children at all times, use the Magnetic Key Holder to mount the key in a safe location.
