NOTE: Bread Lifter will not latch down unless Toaster is plugged in. - Bread will pop up automatically at end of the cycle.

Care and Cleaning
Care and Cleaning for Crumb Trays
NOTES:
- If Toaster is used daily, crumb tray should be cleaned daily.
- DO NOT turn the Toaster upside down. Gently tap sides to release crumbs and then empty Crumb Tray.
- Unplug. Allow cooling.
- For toasters with Slide-out Crumb Trays: Slide out Crumb Tray, discard crumbs, and wipe tray with a clean cloth. Slide Crumb Tray back into place.
- Wipe outside of Toaster with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners that may scratch the surface of the Toaster.
Troubleshooting
- To remove food that becomes lodged in Extra-Wide Slots, disconnect the Toaster from the outlet and allow it to cool. Use a nonmetal utensil to loosen food from grill wires, allowing it to fall into Slide-Out Crumb Tray. Empty Slide-Out Crumb Tray daily.
- Toasting is affected by the temperature of the bread. Room-temperature bread may be a toast to a medium color on a medium setting. The same type of bread that has been refrigerated may require a darker setting to reach a medium color.
- While toasting, heating elements do not have to glow red to be working properly; food will still be toasting.
- Bread Lifter must be down to press Bagel button or One Slice Sure-Toast™ button.
