Product Usage Instructions
- Park the vehicle on a hard, level surface and engage the
emergency brake. Place chocks in front and behind wheels to prevent
rolling. Observe all safety precautions and wear safety
glasses. - With the vehicle on the ground, measure the distance from the
bottom of the frame to the contact pad on the axle. - Raise the rear of the vehicle, allowing the axle to hang
freely. Support the frame using safety jack stands. - Starting on the driver side, remove the existing factory bump
stop by gripping firmly and twisting. - Remove the bump stop cup.
- Install the SumoSprings by inserting them into the same hole in
the frame where the factory bump stop was removed from. - Apply a drop of Blue Thread Locker to the threads of the bolt
and thread it into the hole in the frame. Tighten the bolt and
torque to 20 lbs. - Repeat steps 4 through 7 on the passenger side of the
vehicle. - Jack up the vehicle and remove the safety jack stands.
- Carefully lower the vehicle to the hard surface.
- Remove the wheel chocks from the front wheels.
- Register the warranty for your SuperSprings International part
using the warranty card found in the box your part came in.

BEFORE INSTALLATION: Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface, the parking brake is ON, with the ignition OFF, and place blocks in front of and behind the front tires to prevent the vehicle from moving.
DURING AND/OR AFTER INSTALLATION: Ensure emergency brake cables are
not touch-ing the SuperSprings. Secure any cables out of the way with zip ties
or by re-routing. Ensure all A/C lines, brake cables, and frame are clear of contact
or interference.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your part may have been loosely preassembled to show the final product as it will be once installed on your vehicle. Please disassemble the product before proceeding to the installation.
INSTALLATION
1. Park the vehicle on a hard, level surface and engage the emergency brake. Place chocks in front and behind wheels to prevent rolling. Observe all safety precautions and wear safety glasses.
2. With the vehicle on the ground, measure the distance from the bottom of the frame to the contact pad on the axle.
3. The SSR-121-40/47/54 kits come with several spacers and different length bolts to fit a variety of vehicle configurations. A er taking the measurement, determine which combination of spacers will combine for a total height that is ½” to 1″ less than the measurement between the frame and axle. (The 4″ SumoSpring Plate [ITEM B] must always be used directly on top of the Sumospring [ITEM A])
4. Raise rear of vehicle allowing the axle to hang freely. Support the frame using safety jack stands.
5. Starting on the driver side, remove the existing factory bump stop by gripping firmly and twisting.
6. Remove the bump stop cup.
7. Insert appropriate length Hex Bolt [ITEM D] through the Flat Washer [ITEM C], the center of the Sumospring [ITEM A], 4″ SumoSpring Plate [ITEM B], and ½” Spacer [ITEM E] and/or 1″ Spacer [ITEM F] as determined in step 3.
8. Apply a drop of Blue Thread Locker to the threads of the bolt and thread it into the same hole in the frame that the factory bump stop was removed from. Tighten the bolt and torque to 20 -lbs.
9. Repeat steps 3 through 8 on the passenger side of the vehicle.
10. Jack up vehicle, remove safety jack stands.
11. Care lly lower vehicle to the hard surface.
12. Remove wheel chocks from the front wheels.
13. Register the warranty for your SuperSprings International part. A warranty card can be found in the box your part came in.
