SYA1718MBK Syrah 3-Light Matte Black Semi-Flush Mount Ceiling Light

Product Information

The SYA1718BN, SYA1718MBK, SYA2818BN, and SYA2818MBK are
convertible light fixtures that can be mounted as pendant or
semi-flush lights. The package contents include a fixture body, a
ceiling canopy, mounting hardware, and two 12L rods, two 6L rods C,
a crossbar assembly AA, three wire connectors BB, and two outlet
box screws CC. The recommended bulb type is Medium (E26) TYPE A
with a maximum wattage of 100W.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation

Option 1: Pendant – SYA2818BN, SYA2818MBK

1. Install rods according to ceiling height. For an 8 feet
   ceiling, use two 12L rods. For a 9 feet ceiling, use two 6L rods
   and two 12L rods.
2. Wire the fixture by connecting the white wire from the supply
   to the white wire from the fixture, and the black (or red) wire
   from the supply to the black wire from the fixture. Connect the
   ground wire from the supply to the ground wire from the
   fixture.
3. Tighten the hex nut inside the ceiling canopy and attach it to
   the crossbar assembly.
4. Install the crossbar assembly to the outlet box.
5. Swivel the fixture to a 90-degree angle for angled
   ceilings.
6. Install three correct bulbs, referring to fixture markings
   and/or labels for maximum wattage.

Option 2: Semi-Flush – SYA1718BN, SYA1718MBK

1. Remove the swivel.
2. Install the ceiling canopy.
3. Install the crossbar assembly to the outlet box.
4. Wire the fixture by connecting the white wire from the supply
   to the white wire from the fixture, and the black (or red) wire
   from the supply to the black wire from the fixture. Connect the
   ground wire from the supply to the ground wire from the
   fixture.
5. Attach the ceiling canopy to the crossbar assembly.
6. Install three correct bulbs, referring to fixture markings
   and/or labels for maximum wattage.

Once installation is complete, restore electricity and save the
user manual for future reference. Note that if you intend to use
the fixture as a pendant light, do not cut supply wires.

1 Install Rods Optional Rods:
8 Feet Ceiling: (2) 12″L Rods. 9 Feet Ceiling: (2) 6″L Rods + (2) 12″L Rods.

use it as pendant light.

* Set aside (2) 6″L Rods and (2) 12″L Rods,swivel since they are not required for the semi-flush installation.
