Adjustable Strike Bracket Components

• L-shaped bracket x 1
• 3″ (76mm) U-bolt and plate x 1 and fixing nuts x 2
• 6’12” (165 mm) Gate Stop Bracket
• Adaptor for Non-ANSI Strikes x 1

Installation Intructions

Note After installation of your weldable Gate Box and chosen Codelock, familiarise yourself with the installation instructions below before installing the Adjustable Strike Bracket.

1. For Codelocks CL200, CL400, CL500 CL4500 locks, install the Non-ANSI Strike adaptor along with the small strike plate supplied with the lock.
   For Codelocks CL600 and CL5500 locks, attach the ANSI Strike plate supplied with the lock directly to the L-Shaped Bracket, using the self-tapping screws provided.
2. Position the L-shaped bracket on the inside of the gate post ensuring the strike plate aligns with the latch bolt. The L-Shaped bracket is adjustable to accommodate a gap of up to 2″ (51mm).
3. When satisfied, secure the U-bolt with the plate and fix the nuts to the L-shaped bracket around the gate post. The Gate Stop Bracket can be added and used as a stop, ensuring the gate does not pass through the strike plate mounted on the post.
4. From the inside, open and close the gate to ensure it is closing properly in alignment with the strike bracket.

DO NOT close the gate from the outside until you are sure that the lock’s code works and the installation is operating correctly.
