MTI BASICS BASICS Pre-Leveled Foam Base
All MTI tubs are available with a factory-installed pre-leveled foam base. This facilitates installation by eliminating the need for using a wet-bed compound to level the tub.
Pre-Leveled Foam Base (PLFOAM) $295
Instruction
- Must be ordered with tub for proper fit and finish.
- Adds approximately 2″- 3″ to the overall height of drop-in and undermount tubs. This foam also acts as a sound dampener and barrier.
- MTI uses high-density closed-cell foam which will not shrink, crack or deteriorate over time. Field substitutions (e.g., Great Stuff) are not recommended and may void the warranty.
- All tubs ordered with an air bath or a frame system include the factory-installed pre-leveled foam base as standard. Freestanding tubs include an internal pre-leveled foam base.
