the base. - Read the pump user manual. Insert the water pump into the water
tube. - Insert the fountain top on the reservoir and put the pump into
the water. The water should be higher than the pump. - Make sure the water tube is properly connected to the pump and
is not crimped. - The concave edge of the fountain top should adhere to the
convex part of the reservoir. Be sure that the electric wire is
passed through the wire opening. - Connect the power cable to the outlet. If installed properly,
water flow in the fountain will begin shortly. - Please do not use the electrical plug-in in wet weather
conditions. - Please do not use it in adverse weather conditions.
Please note: On first use, there may be air in the pump. It may
take several minutes until all the air escapes.
Safety Guidelines
- Read all instructions and safety guidelines thoroughly. Failure
to follow guidelines and instructions could result in serious
injury and/or property damage. - Do not pump flammable liquids such as gasoline or fuel oil with
the fountain pump. - Make sure the water tube is properly connected with the pump
and the upper layer, and the tube is not crimped. This could cause
a blockage, and water will not come out. - During operation, the area around the pump will be covered with
water. Take care when handling the pump; do not pull it out of the
water (when running) by the power cord, and do not move the product
while in operation. - Unplug the pump from electric power before servicing, cleaning,
or moving.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- If, after time, the pump starts to lose power or stops working,
you should check for the build-up of sediment or scale at the
bottom of the pump housing, or in the reservoir. - Remove the blockage or any dirt and scale which may have built
up and close the case back up. - Periodically change the water and keep the water clean. We
recommend distilled water to prevent mineral build-up. This will
improve the waterfall effect.
