DW-914 Perching Birds Tabletop Water Fountain

Product Information

The Perching Birds Tabletop Water Fountain (Model: DW-914) is a
decorative fountain designed for tabletop use. It features a pump,
a decorative top with a built-in water tube, and a bowl. The
fountain requires a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) outlet
for operation.

Warnings and Cautions

Warnings:

  • Only connect the pump to a GFCI outlet to reduce the risk of
    electric shock.
  • Do not exceed the voltage shown on the pump.
  • Always disconnect the pump from the power source before
performing any maintenance on the pump or fountain.
  • Inspect the pump and power cord for damage before installation
and maintenance. If damage is found, the pump should be
    replaced.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Place the pump inside the bowl and run the power cord through
the tube in the bowl and out the back of the fountain.
  2. Locate the water tube underneath the decorative top. Firmly
connect the water tube to the pump and carefully place the fountain
    body onto the bowl.
  3. Fill the fountain with enough water to keep the pump fully
    submerged during operation.
  4. Connect the AC adapter to the power cord and plug it into a
    properly grounded GFCI outlet.

Note: When first used, there may be air in the
pump. It may take several minutes for trapped air to escape,
allowing water to flow.

Use & Care Instructions

To maintain the Perching Birds Tabletop Water Fountain:

  • Keep the fountain clean by removing scale and buildup
regularly. Avoid using harmful additives such as bleach or
    chlorine.
  • When cleaning the fountain, only clean the pump and never the
    power cord.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with the fountain:

  1. Ensure that the power supply is properly plugged in. If not,
unplug it for a few moments and plug it back in.
  2. The pump may have air bubbles, which can prevent water from
circulating properly. Allow some time for the trapped air to
    escape.
