PSYCHOMETER
The Psychometer is a specialty device hacked together by Hidden operatives in order to hear “memories” associated with objects. This device reads invisible energies associated with objects. The Hidden believe these energies are connected to the Darkness. When properly tuned and paired with a resonant object, the Psychometer can detect and play back sounds and voices linked to the object’s past. The device isn’t perfect. It offers only shaky access to these energies, so sometimes the sounds are difficult to hear or incomplete.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Power up the Psycho meter by charging it using the supplied USB cord and connecting it to a power source. Once the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator will turn from red to green on the back of the device.
Insert the UF antenna and turn the power dial to on by rotating it to the right. You are able to adjust the volume of the device using this knob as well.
After the Psychometer has cycled through its internal tests, the indicator lights will be off except for the single “ready” light closest to the power dial. The device is now ready for use.
Place any artifact on top of the frequency coils and use the three adjustment knobs on the left to home in on any memories to extract from the artifact. Most artifacts can be placed directly onto the coils; however, the Hive Ghost requires the insertion of the clear support arm to provide stability and places it within the optimum sensory range of the Psycho meter. Please insert the support arm into the center of the Psycho meter, and then place the Hive Ghost onto the top of the arm – a black ring has been added to the support arm to aid in insertion into the Hive Ghost.
As you adjust the frequency modulators for each artifact, the indicator lights on the right will start to light up, the closer you get to unlocking a memory. When all four indicator lights are lit, you have dialed in the correct frequency, and any message will be played.
To power down the Psycho meter, rotate the volume knob on the right to the far left and remove the antenna for storage.
