The RS720A-E12 is a server motherboard designed for
high-performance computing. It comes with various FRU (Field

Product Usage Instructions:

1. To replace the Motherboard Converted Board, Backplane, Front
I/O Board Cable, Riser Card, Riser Kit, Fan, Heatsink, HDD Tray, or
Power Supply, follow these steps:

Ensure the server is powered off and unplugged.
Locate the specific part that needs replacement.
Remove any screws or connectors holding the current part in
place.
Gently disconnect the cables attached to the part.
Take out the old part and replace it with the new one.
Secure the new part with screws or connectors.
Reconnect any cables previously disconnected.
Power on the server and ensure the new part is functioning
properly.

2. To install an Upgrade Kit, follow these steps:

Ensure the server is powered off and unplugged.
Locate the specific Upgrade Kit you want to install.
Refer to the provided manual or instructions for detailed
installation steps.
Follow the instructions to properly install the Upgrade
Kit.
Secure all connections and ensure everything is properly
seated.
Power on the server and verify that the Upgrade Kit is
functioning as intended.
