Toddy Cold Brew System

Product Information

The Commercial Model with Lift is a coffee brewing system
designed for commercial use. It consists of a brewing container
with a spigot, a Lift for holding the filter, and a filter bag.
This system allows you to brew large quantities of coffee with
ease.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Insert the Lift into the Commercial brewing container, ensuring
    that the feet are facing down and the spigot is not
    obstructed.
  2. Place the brewing container with the open end facing up. The
    filter will rest on top of the Lift.
  3. Pour 5 pounds (2kg) of coarsely ground coffee into the filter.
    Slowly pour 13 quarts (11L) of cool, filtered water into the open
    filter, ensuring that all the coffee grounds are saturated. Allow
    the coffee to bloom for 20 minutes.
  4. After 20 minutes, break the bloom by using a spoon or paddle to
    push through the crust of the coffee. Stir gently until fully
    mixed.
  5. Tie the filter bag closed using the included string. The string
    should be tied approximately 3 inches (8cm) from the top of the
    filter bag, leaving enough room for the coffee to move around.
  6. Allow the grounds to rest for an additional 10-20 minutes by
    closing the spigot.
  7. Decant the rest of the extract and refrigerate it for up to two
    weeks.

Note: Ensure that all components are clean and properly
assembled before starting the brewing process. Follow proper
hygiene and safety guidelines while handling hot liquids and
equipment.

Insert the Lift, feet down, into the Commercial
1 brewing container, making sure that the spigot is not obstructed.

Insert one Toddy® Commercial filter into the
2 brewing container with the open end facing up. The filter will rest on top of the Lift.

Pour 5 pounds (2kg) of coarsely ground coffee

sure to saturate all the coffee grounds. Let

bloom for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, break the bloom by taking a
4 spoon or paddle and pushing through the crust of the coffee. Stir gently until fully mixed.

Tie the filter bag closed with the included string.
5 The string should be tied approximately 3 inches (8cm) from the top of the filter bag. Leave plenty of room for the coffee to move around.

6 Cover with lid and let brew for 8-24 hours. 7 Drain extract into Toddy® storage decanters or
other airtight storage containers.

8 Close spigot and let grounds rest an additional 10-20 minutes.

9 Decant the rest of the extract and refrigerate for up to two weeks.
