4L60E-Boost-472 Factory Replacement 472 Boost Valve Kit
Fits both Early Long AND Late Short Style boost valve systems. No need to stock both types anymore! Restores pressure rise and protects the transmission from extreme reverse pressure due to worn-out/cross-leaking boost bushings.
Installation Note:
Boost Valve Location-Pan View
If you have a Turbine Sensor harness here, Stop! Transmission removal will be required& Pump must be removed from the transmission to install the New Boost Valve.
2007 Model Shown
Do NOT attempt to pull or flex the connector or harness in an attempt to install the Boost Valve. Damage to the sensor or harness will require transmission removal to repair.
Turbine Speed Sensor was introduced to some models in 2006 & coverage was expanded in 2007 & up models.
No speed sensor here? Great! Proceed with installation.
