Product Information
The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 is a mainstream 2U 2-socket server
with industry-leading reliability, management, and security
features. It is designed to handle a wide range of workloads. The
server previously supported up to 12 NVMe drives, but new
configurations have been announced with more NVMe drives: 16 NVMe
drives + 8 SAS/SATA drives, 20 NVMe drives, and 24 NVMe drives.
The ThinkSystem SR670 is a 2-socket GPU-rich server that
supports four double-wide high-performance GPUs. Lenovo has added
support for SAS drive controllers, SAS drives, an additional GPU,
and support for Omni Path Architecture. New options include support
for an additional processor, Omni Path Architecture, internal SAS
HBAs and RAID controllers, external SAS HBA, SAS HDDs and SSDs, and
GPUs.
The ThinkSystem KVM console switches now have product guides
available to describe the products.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 server:
- Ensure proper power supply and network connectivity.
- Install the desired number of NVMe drives according to the
chosen configuration. Refer to the product guide for specific
installation instructions. - Follow the server management and security features provided by
Lenovo for efficient operation.
To use the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR670 server:
- Ensure proper power supply and network connectivity.
- Install the desired GPUs, SAS drives, and additional processor
according to the desired configuration. Refer to the product guide
for specific installation instructions. - Follow the server management and security features provided by
Lenovo for efficient operation.
To use the Lenovo ThinkSystem KVM console switches:
- Connect the KVM switch to the desired servers using the
appropriate cables. - Refer to the product guide for specific instructions on using
the digital or analog KVM switch. - Manage and control multiple servers using the KVM switch.

ThinkSystem SR670 – New Options
The SR670 is a 2-socket GPU-rich server supporting four double-wide high-performance GPUs. In January, Lenovo added support for SAS drive controllers, SAS drives, an additional GPU and support for Omni Path Architecture.
