Instructions For Use
Please read carefully before use

Set of 4 electrode pads with integrated lead wires for mamaTENS, perfect mamaTENS or perfect mama+.

Application of pads:

1. Remove the pads from their storage bag. Unravel the lead wires.
2. After first ensuring that the mamaTENS, perfect mamaTENS or perfect mama+ is switched off, with the electrodes still on the plastic liner, insert the two lead wire plugs into the unit.
3. Establish where the electrode pads are to be placed. This will be either as indicated in the Instruction Manual or in accordance with the advice of your midwife or medical practitioner.
4. Where the pads are to be applied wash the skin and dry thoroughly. Make sure the skin is free of oil-based creams/lotions as this can ruin the selfadhesive gel.
5. Place the centre of the pad onto the skin and then smooth down and around the pad edges. Retain the protective liners so that after use the pads may be stored without damage to themselves.
6. During use, ensure that the lead wires to all four pads remain slack and that none are under any tension at all. Failure to do this may result in pad failure.

Removal of pads:

1. After use, ensure that the mamaTENS, perfect mamaTENS or perfect mama+ is switched off before removing the pads from the skin.
2. Remove pads by peeling from the edge. Do NOT pull on the lead wire.
3. In between use, replace pads onto their protective liners and place them back into the storage bag and seal.

Important:

1. Observe all the Contraindications, Cautions and Warnings included with the device that you are using with these electrodes.
2. Pads are for single patient use only.
3. Do not apply pads to broken skin or to skin without normal sensation.

Warnings
Do not ignore any allergic reaction to the electrode pads: If a skin irritation develops, stop using device, as a small number of users may have an adverse reaction to the gel.
